Well, I tried getting the Starmate Replay at Costco.com for $59, and placed the order with no problem. It got cancelled the next day inexplicably. Then after that, the site just stopped working. I tried to reorder, but every time I clicked on View Cart, or Checkout I just got a big SITE ERROR message. This happened on several different computers! So, I gave up and bought it at Radio Shack.
Part 2: the reception was what I was really worried about because of all the horror stories I've been reading about people not being able to get a Sirius signal, but I have no problem at all. Even with the antenna inside my apartment and the windows (and curtains) closed, I still get 3 bars of satellite and 6 bars of terrestrial (I am in a big city). No reception problems at all, and no nead to mount my antenna outside. Awesome! |

I just ordered another one and I didn't have any problems with the website at all. Clear your browser's cache and internet temp files from the Tools->Options menu. You should try again, it's a really good deal, in fact it's the best deal out there. Othewise, just call/email customer service. It's worth giving it another shot. |

I appreciate the response, but I did try it at work, at an internet lab, and at home. I tried both Mozilla and Explorer and for the life of me can't get that site to work. The site works fine until I try to Check Out or View Shopping Cart, then it crashes. Maybe they froze my account or something. It really is a fantastic price, but I got sick of messing with it and just bought it at the store. The rebates (Sirius + the Radio Shack one) will help bring the price to around what Costco's offering.
P.S. I did email Costco's customer service and got an auto-reply message saying they'd get beck to me when they have time... it's been a week.
