If I get a US radio then get the rest (antennas, docks, etc.) from Canadian stores I'll still be able to receive the show right?

All radios come with antennas so you won't need to buy them, but even if you did, like an external one, it would still work. Regarding docks, if it's the same exact radio, e.g. Starmate Replay, or Sportster Replay, then yes, the docks will still work.

that's what I figured. Thanks.

I'll probably end up getting an external antenna for the house. I'll see how it goes though

What is the difference between one of the car antenna and the home antenna? I can't get my car antenna to work when its not on the car. And I'm too cheap to buy another antenna.

The difference is that it's made to work when attached to a car and nowhere else.

I think the point isn't where the radio was bought, but what service you subscribe to. To get Howard, you need to give them an American home address, otherwise you'll get the Canadian signal with no Howard. That's how I understand it anyway.

i have another accessories-related question:

i know the sportster is equipped with an fm transmitter. but can you use a casette adapater to listen to the sportster in the car, instead? (that's what i use for my ipod, and it's easier than dealing with FM static).

thanks.

I got a US address, I'll be signing up online, my radio is coming from a supplier in Phoenix and my universal kit is coming from Nevada so I got nothing to worry about.

I am looking to buy an additional antenna for my home, It looks like it could be cheaper to buy a new reciever (with an antenna in the box) then buy a separate antenna. Is this possible?
