Sirius, FamilyNet Launch Christian Talk Channel

Sirius Satellite Radio and FamilyNet, the broadcast arm of the Southern Baptist Convention, have launched Christian Talk on Sirius Channel 159. The new channel airs FamilyNet's most popular programming, including the 700 Club with Pat Robertson and Way of the Master featuring actor Kirk Cameron and evangelist Ray Comfort. Some of America's most well known pastors, including Charles Stanley, Jack Graham and David Jeremiah, will also be featured on the new channel. Christian Talk joins Sirius' Christian music channels: Spirit (Hits), Revolution (Rock) and Praise (Gospel).

Hahah. I think that's GREAT! The crew would have a field day with that channel. It's like the FCC having its own channel on uncencored radio. They could do endless prank calls and just raise Hell!! In fact, the Howard Stern crew pranking an Xian channel would prob give that channel ratings. Can't wait!

Any word if the Sirius execs have told the Stern crew not to prank the other channels?

Guess 159 is another channel for me to block. :-)
