Just got the official word that there will be a live Super Fan Roundtable in Times Square at 2PM. All fans in the area are encouraged to come down to the ESPN Zone and be involved. Get in to this!! It'll be John Hein & Ralph with you and your drunken friends. The place will be filled with wackpackers and your fellow stern fans.

hey now! i got there @ 4am. all the bands were given out . i was so drunk i left b4 it was over. i walked with a abrainstorm idea that if i want to get into the hard rock a would get there b4 the crowd. it worked! i was first. then my buzz kicked in & i said fuk it . i took a taxi to city island & heard it on the radio. i recorded the entire show so i heard it when i woke up. i was upset at myself but i met joeyboots, maryann from bklyn(cutie)! 
i was able to grab a piece of memorabilia from the show. i went away with a poster 1-9-06. it was great & i don't regret leaving. i regret drinking so much cause ordinarily i would've stayed & do some stupid stunt to gain admission to somethind.
we , the stern fan family have alot to be proud of & happy for because we r the last of a dying breed.

I went to ESPN and watched HPE, zolar, Kenith kalenback, yucko, boots, SCOTT!!! (everyone was screaming his name. it was very funny), double AA (who is so tiny that I could easily trip over and crush under my foot, and a bunch of others go in.
boots looked like he had been hit over the head with a brick and was struggling with the idea of remaining standing. I'm sure he doesn't remember meeting me. I talked to fstick, copter, Persephone and NWSternGirl. it was all tons of fun.
after a while i could see there was no way i could get into the roundtable. but i live here, so i'll try later. They should have let those who live out of town in (the above named people). ah, well

The Roundtable was good, but some of the fans they brought on didn't cut it.................John Hein: "How did you like the speaches?"
Fan: They were good
JH: What'd you think of Artie?
Fan: Artie was good
JH: How about Gary?
Fan: Gary was good
It made me appreciate the real superfans who can actually form a sentence and a have a thought or two in their heads. |

i took a few pics and I haven't even LOOKED at them yet! believe it or not! I've been busy. But I'll look today and if any came out at all, i'll make them available. |

I was on the roundtable for a segment on Friday, around 1hr. 15 mins. into the show. Funnily enough, i stayed in the studio and was right next to Ralph. Before he said anything on the air, I saw him take a cashier's check out of his pocket. That's when he mentioned it on the air. If I knew it was from Howard I would have tried harder to look at it. My memory may be a bit hazy, but I want to say the first word in the amount was "two".... two hundred thousand?? Of course that sounds high, but being the holidays and the last show, and as rich as Howard is you never know.
I met a bunch of people from the show there, and everyone was so nice. Richard Christy was with two smoking hot blonde chicks and they were all over him. I got a picture with him and one of the hot chicks as well.
Stern show regulars that I met there: Double A, Ralph, John Hein, Will, Jason, Hook Nose Mike, Angry Black, Irish John, Tabitha Stevens, Richard Christy, Yucko, Bong Hit Eric, and Craig Gass.
High Pitch was there but he left very early into the broadcast and the crowd was being completely ruthless towards him.
It was a great time, and I made the trip all the way from Orlando. BTW this is my first post on sfn, looking forward to talking to you guys in the future. |

the fukin transit strike sux. i have the home kit 4 my s50 shipping to my work location & i can't get there cause of the strike. i heard that the strike was held off from 12-16 -05 cause of howard. what do you think? it's quite possible.
