| Not sure if this thread belongs here, but here goes anyway... I programmed my S50 to record Monday's show, after recording all of last week's shows with no problems, and when I went to my car to retrieve the media player part of the S50, not only was Monday's show not there, all my MP3s and Sirius songs and shows that I had stored on my S50 were gone as well. Yet somehow the S50 says that my memory usage is 100% full. Huh? On top of that, when I power the S50 on now, it says "Data Error...Please Restart", and it won't let me record any songs or shows. Seems like a problem between the S50 and it's hard drive. I called Sirius tonight, who are supposedly open 24/7, but the girl gave me another number to call, for a technical support line, and they were closed. Has anyone else had this problem with their S50, and if so what was your remedy? :mad: |

Yeah buddy, the header for that forum says it's for deals on Sirius equipment only, not technical issues. So don't jump so quick. |

| Sounds like your hard drive is dirty. Best thing to do is dunk it in a bucket of water while charging. If this doesnt work then take a hammer and smash it 3 times... AS hard as you can, no pussy smashing. and if it still doesnt work, then try to get your money back... Notice the word "TRY"! Please note that this remedy should not be tried by anyone...it could actually kill you. :) |

I tried this and it didn't work. Except now I feel like a tool for some strange reason. Any other suggestions? |

Couldn't of said it better myself. I almost bought one of these until I seen all the problems people were having with them. Think I'll wait till they get the bugs worked out of them and the price drops a little bit. |

I'm very impulsive, and I jumped right on the S50, so I'm not gonna sit here and cry..."Waah, my new $300 piece of technology is having issues, Waah!"...but I'm just wondering if someone else had this problem and figured out how to fix it, short of shipping it out to be repaired. |

No problem my man, but you really will have better luck getting that question answered in here. Honestly, it might already be answered in one of these threads. Look around for a bit. |

| Dude all the s50's have some glitches. Top notch site is siriusbackstage forums check out the s50 forums and you'll get up to speed on all the s50 issues |
