I received no signal in downtown LA today. Usually, I get a 9-bar terrestrial signal in my office, but today a I got nothing. Did anyone else have this problem? Since I got home, I'm getting the signal fine. I wonder what the problem is/was?

Sounds like the repeater was down. If you run into the problem tomorrow, I would give Sirius a call.

from time to time my signal fades in and out and i have to move it around alittle bit but i always can find it......im not sure if this is the reason, but could it be the satellite moving around the earth? or is it always the same direction?

No problems at all...I never do driving. I just came back from Bishop/Mammoth Lakes today- Took a quick day trip. No problems going back and forth through these snowy mountains.

I cut right across the mountains, just slightly next to the entrance of Death Valley

No problems today, but yesterday morning it kept cutting in and out a lot. Weird thing was I never had any problems before and I almost always get 6-10 bars...and to make it even worse, my antenna has never been moved..

No signal problems at all today down here in The OC.

You were not the only one. I work in an office building with no SAT signal and usually a full scale TER signal. I think their LA repeater was down on both 1/16 and 1/17, but it's back to it's normal full strength today. I called them and they were not aware of any problems... whatever.

It was back up today 1/18
