Maybe it's just my radio, but last week I was transmitting fine to a couple of my regular radios in the house at 89.90. All of a sudden today in comes a strong
FM signal from a talk radio station at around 90 something. It's walkin all over the Sirius feed. Is it just me or has anyone else in the So Cal area noticed this? What is a good frequency to broadcast out here? |

I've seen that happen here in NY every so often depending on atmospheric conditions. Even when Howard was on Testicular Radio, every so often another station would bleed into his frequency.
I was in Downtown LA last week and found Sirius's terrestrial repeater signal to be excellent. Even with my radio sitting in the middle of my hotel room (Marriott LA Downtown), I had a strong signal. I was transmitting on 88.9 but, needed to keep my Sirius unit right next to the hotel clock radio. It worked great. I'm not sure if this is indicative of the entire area but, I was able to walk to work with my powerpod in my bag, listening to Howard all the way. |

Downtown LA is very good, except between certain buildings, and except for today. Seems like the repeater was down.
I use 88.3. In my bathroom, I get the signal pretty good from the living room but sometimes when I move to a certain spot in the bathroom, the signal flips to some obscure jazz station in Long Beach. Generally, 88.3 works for me, but there is some bleed in certain conditions. |

| Thanks for your input. I'll check out the other 80's. 88.9 seems to be working well tonight. |

| 90.3 is good for me in OC. Works well in the crapper and shower. I also recomend wireless headphones from Sennheiser. These headphones have tripple the range of my Sirius and wider frequency response, clearer highs and lows. But I can't use them in the shower. |
