Does anyone know if the Home Docking stations for the Sportster comes with a FM tuner? I don't have a home stereo just a boombox, which works fine if I leave my reciever in my car on, but I don't want to keep doing that for fear that I will drain my battery.
Any answers? |

| I have the Sportster Replay, but it is my understanding that the Sportster also has a built in FM transmitter that has nothing to do with the docking kit. |

| I think all of them have a built in FM tuner. May be wrong. Check to see if they have an FM frequency setting in the menu. |

| The Sportster home kit DOES have a FM Transmitter (I believe it is in the unit and the kit has the little transmitter wire. Mine works incredibly well - I can pick up the signal on every radio in my house. :D |

They all have FM transmitters. I have the Streamer. I mlive in a large Victorian house. My boombox is on the 3rd floor. I was wondering hoe I would shlep it all over the house. Guess what?
Don't have to. I put on any FM radio anywhere in the house, including the basement, and that mother sends the Sirius signal. |

in case nobody's thought of this yet, I've been tuning my Starmate reciever's FM transmitter to a channel on my alarm clock so I can wake up to Howard just like the good old days.

| The tuners were built into the dock on some of the older units. The tuner is built into the radio on both the Sporster and the Sportster replay. |

Done... I was late to work everyday that Howard was gone. I just kept hitting snooze on Rover. |
