I just heard the round table with Mutt and I gotta say I am totally impressed. John Hein and Ralph ruined the show for me. John is too stiff and a total uber nerd. The round table was so boring with him. Ralph finished it off with him just being Ralph.

They need to stop singing that song. It is so fucking gay and lame. The background music when the wrap up show starts is great. It's nothing fancy but it has punch. It's gay and lame to sing a theme song who does that? It's horrible. I almost bailed just when I heard the song. That's how annoying it is. You fine tuned the show by dumping the dead weight now tweak it a lil' more and develop a theme song or some music.

Mutt is great. He's not just a moderator, HE'S A SUPERFAN TOO. I remember waiting and thinking....will mutt give his opinion and he did. AWESOME. It woulda sucked if mutt just posed questions and waited for responses. He's got energy and inspired those same feelings on the panel. I think Kali is the new Mary Ann from Brooklyn. Not like I'm one to talk with my New York accent.

As I said in another thread Kali was well with in her rights to critique High Pitch. She's on the show that's what she's there for. The callers were more brutal than Kali. I don't know why he focused on her. High Pitch needs to develop a thick skin if he's gonna enjoy any kinda fame. Celebs are loved and hated. That's just how it is.

Yup...Mutt does a great job. Anyone who does a shitty job (Ralph) sticks out next to him.

Ignore the THUMBS down on the General Chatter list. OOOPS :)

he did a good job, made SFRT listenable
Air Florida
This last episode of superfag was the most listen-able....

The original and still best roundtable occured at HPE'S during
the "Craptacular" because it was natural, unrehearsed and
had beer involved. It was just the fools being themselves
and very funny IMO. The fans are the funniest when they're not TRYING to be funny...I hope they consider doing something
simular in the future

Way better... RAlph just kills it for me. I like when ralph comments about women on the show or on something Howard did... but other than that, he just kills anything for me. Even when he was on with Bubba.

Congrats Mutt...You are doing awesome!
Mutt
I'm not a fan of the song either. thanks guys, but don't knock Jon. he did a bangup job.

I miss Ralph.

Hey mutt how come the topic never came up about howard replaying the show? Is this something that you might have an answer to, for everyone? It seems like almost everyone on here wants the show replayed more. Maybe if it would have came up on SFRT Howard might get word that everyone's getting pissed about it.

Mutt don't get me wrong. John just did not fit the roll of the superfan round table. I do however think he is great on the wrap up show. I don't kno if i mentioned that. John and Gary play off each other very well. It just didn't do it for me and I think a lotta other listeners. You make the show move quick! Yer witty you say what's on yer mind and you aren't some lame drone asking questions, you are a active participant of the discussion. I don't kno how much of a format you have to follow but if I could suggest this...Mix up the guests more. You have a major source of guests you could dip into. Your site has TONNNNNS of tri state area fans who would prolly give their left nut to come on the show. Repeat panelists we don't need. We already know how they think from the week before.

Again, Thanks Mutt. Great job.

Brandon.

"Don't knock Jon" ??

Mutt, is that an official SFN Moderator edict?

And does that mean that AnfKid (or anyone else here) is expressly forbidden from offering up the opinion that Jon Hein is, say, "stiff"?

Jon Hein is not a professional broadcaster. He's new at his hosting gig and--while he is getting better--until he gets more comfortable and more skilled behind that microphone, Jon's just not going to sound as polished as a more experienced host.

I should be free to express that opinion here.

I've never met Jon Hein, but he seems like a relatively smart human being. I'm guessing that Jon understands that if he's performing for an audience of a couple of million people, at least some of that audience will have some kind of an opinion about his performace. And, in all likelihood, those opinions will vary from audience-member to audience-member.

Mutt, are you telling us that we here at SFN--as paying audience members-- are not allowed to express our opinions? I don't think you are, but when the Mod says "Don't"...it carries some weight. Can you clarify your position on this?

Here's my position:

If you're going to be in show business, you're gonna get reviewed. And the reviews won't always be good. If a person who has chosen to be in show business needs to be protected from his bad reviews, then maybe that person isn't meant to be in show business.

One man's opinion. Let freedom ring.

I think what he meant was no BASHING.. Critiquing ones performance is OK.. I'm assuming that is cool. Saying shit about his mother wouldn't be.

Jon Hein is the best.
