In actuality, Roundtable was a blast! I cannot express how down to earth these folks are. :::Warning::: NAME-DROPPING:
King Of All Blacks, Kevin Renzulli (of www.koam.com fame), Christine the runner-up to the Hottest Chick/ Biggest fan contest (you're number 1 in my heart and my pants baby), Jason Kaplan, Jon Hein, Tim Sabean, Ralph Howard, Steve Langford, Shuli and even the Reverend Bob Levy was in town, as well as all of the Sirius staff were really decent people! How anyone can bad-mouth this show and the inner-workings of it is beyond me. I really hope that a lot of you guys get the opportunity to do Roundtable. And most importantly Mutt, who did a bang-up job, you're my man! I missed Kimba tonight :( But your boy Bob was a real great guy!
I'm not ass-kissing here, I wouldn't do that. I was just overwhelmed by how an unbelievably shitty day turned into an amazing night! I thank my Grandmother for answering the phone and waking me up when Mutt called. No voice is sexier than Mutt's first thing in the morning asking you down to the Sirius studios.
P.S.- I want Human toilet Hayden to have a long, full, healthy life. His only punishment is that he has to do it as: Human toilet Hayden!
P.P.S.- Elliot Offen or Eric The Midget, if you post here please don't start the "How Dare Casey-Stern" thread.

I like the new show format. They seem to spend more time on the topics than before. It seems less rushed. |

It was in a seperate studio other than Howard's. But to answer your second question....the answer rhymes with "mess." And I'm not gonna let you know who the great man was that gave me and Kevin Renzulli the tour of EVERYTHING because it might get him in trouble, and it may never have happened.

Jason Kaplan is the nicest person I've met in relation to any Stern-show affiliated celeb. That's saying a lot because A) I've met a lot. B) They are all terribly nice people. Jason, however, is natural in his humbleness. I respect that a lot!
And, yes, its surreal.
P.S.- The Jagermeister machine the BloodHound Gang brought in is pretty nifty! |

| Thanks for the kind words everybody. We all fuck-up and make bad threads. We all post stupid things sometimes. And its fun to make fun...but at the end of the day, we are united as Stern fans. Mutt was just a little upset, completely concious of the realities of life, but just a little upset with Howard's bad mouthing today. Let's bring SFN back to its roots. | One more amazingly cool thing I forget to tell you guys. Lest anyone think "Big Brother Sirius" isn't watching: Me, Mutt & his friend Bob walk into the newsroom with no less than 4 computer screens all tuned in to SternFanNetwork! Since I only frequent this site and porn on the internet it was strange, my brain knew the page looked familiar but I did ask myself "Why the hell is Ralph Howard looking at Big Titty Digest?" Then when I recovered from my mind's trip to space I got closer and read 'SternFanNetork' and it all made sense. What a cool day for all of us! |

Casey, I agree about Jason being very nice. I got to meet him in NYC and ran into him a couple times there. He was always friendly...seems like a really nice guy! And I dug the way Jason got loud with Dead-air Dave yesterday!

| good job guys==i tried to call in to discus a topic and was told "not strong enough" and hung up on .. that person sounded like he was speeding when he answered the phone. then i heard the same Jackie name from the last caller. (i had wanted to mention jackie to have in for a day to the screener way before the last caller.) weird huh??????? |

I think Mutt keeps the show moving very nicely and has just the right amount of atittude and energy. Glad to see nothing was off limits. :btu:

KOAB: A little over the top and out of control I thought... He tried to 'Nigga it up' a little too much and needs to calm down a bit.

the song is bad, but we're stuck with it. the second round of the song was filler. we were having a bunch of phone issues and the topics we're filling the breaks right without the callers.
the funniest part was Jason's notes. everyone looked like a god damn prescription. couldn't read any of them. each note I would just stare at wounder, what the hell does this say? one note had 4 words. I could only read king.
we don't want it slow / boring and I'm just a loud all over the place guy. I'm trying to bring energy into the group and get the same from the panel. If I was slow and the group was slow, you bitch about that.
theres a room of people helping me keep the show moving. I switch topics when signaled, I go to rapid fire when signaled. and I jump through the callers when signaled. there's a schedule and things need to be finished in time for the break and to have time for callers. when the caller goes nowhere, I need to move on. hell I thought jason was going to hit the hangup button for me a couple times. |
