I was going to post a receiver question on SBS, but there are so few people over there & half of them are XM subscribers anyway.
So maybe people can post questions & bitch about their hardware here!
I have an XTR1 and when I turned it on this afternoon it seemed like the FM modulator was gone...then after a couple of minutes I started getting some crappy sound then it slowly came back to normal. I didn't have time to plug it in direct to the stereo to make sure it was just the FM mod. Has anyone else had this problem with this unit or others? It worked fine this morning & is working fine now (listening to the show replay now...) |

| I have the Visor XACT and on any given day i have to find a different channel to tune my radio to. 88.1 , 89.1 and so on. |

A-fucking-MEN to that.
Half the time the god damn thing won't turn on and I have to unplug it and plug it back in to turn the top and bottom on. :mad:
If it didn't store 50 hours of content, I would have run it over with my car by now. That fucking dial button feels cheap too. |

Don't lose faith, the s50 will have a firmware update by the 20th of this month that is supposed to address the important stability issues along with important operating issues like the "power-off while you have paused". In the meantime, if you get frozen at the dog logo when docking you can simply go into your menu and under device settings do a channel update. Or in a worst case scenario, a three finger re-set is supposed to take care of things. You will have to call customer support on that one though, unless someone wants to private message you on that. |

| My sportster replay is almost 2 months old and almost all of the lights on the buttons are out. On occasion it changes channels on its own and since I have it the remote range is horrid. But god news is after daily calls to warranty I have a new one on the way finally. |
