SYDNEY, Australia - An Australian television network on Wednesday broadcast photographs and video clips it said were previously unpublished images of the alleged abuse of Iraqis held in U.S. military custody at Abu Ghraib prison.

The images were taken at Abu Ghraib in late 2003 at about the same time as previously published photographs of Iraqi prisoner abuse, the Special Broadcasting Service's "Dateline" program reported.

The images were consistent with the earlier photographs, which triggered outrage at alleged abuse by U.S. soldiers, a congressional investigation and military trials for some of those involved....

Anyone found any copies of the images yet?

WTF is the admin saying- we don't need to see them because they are more of the same? Last time I checked I was a free and consenting adult- I do not need Bush or Rummy telling me what I do and do not need to see.

You'll be glad to hear it's the trend of the future as well then. Additions to the patriot act mean that wearing a "protest" t shirt or having a anti Bush / war / whatever bumber sticker in a "national security event", (which can be declared after the fact, btw) is now a felony "disturbance" and subjects US citizens to the same detention and possible torture as enemy combatants. They just took away your right to protest and nobody noticed....

It's pretty obvious the release of the torture pics and the muslim cartoons are part of an operation to inflame the Muslims, combined with antogonists, riots etc to get Europe in line for an attack on Iran.
