| In the sirius forum the question was raised about updating the voice tags for the S50 and noone is answering it...does anyone here know how to update this thing? Not the studio, the actual peice of equipment. |

| Connect the S50 to you computer and open up Sirius Studio. Then click on the little circle/sun looking icon on your S50 to get to Device Settings. Then you can click on a box to Update Software. That will update the firmware on it. |

| i just got my unit a few weeks ago and it has the same firmware that the update for the sirius studio thing has, but i dont have the new voice tags |

A new firmware update is rumored to come out within the next couple of weeks.
Which is supposed to have new voiceprints. |

| the s50 rocks! got ot for christmas and have 200 songs downloaded on it! I freakin love this thing for the 1st time i can listen to the show to by recording it. the thing i hate is the antenna!!!! some cut that shit right off my car!!!! 50$ for a new one |

| You will download te new firmware and apply it to the unit. Care not to power down the unit during the update. If you lose power, the unit will die and is fucking useless. |

Yeah I can record the show too.....With a 12 dollar cable from Radio Shack..
You paid 400 bones for an overpriced Ipod paperweight.

| The only problem I have with the unit is that if you are trying to fast forward through the show and you hit the button too fast it forwards to the next recorded show. Pisses me off |

| i do want an s50 but i have a mp3 player that i just set the fm modulator to the same freq that Howard is on and hit record. It works and the soumd quality is great.. |
