| hey bob great roast today, love the idea of picking a few sfn people to go to the next roast. anyway been listening religiously since 93 and have to say the show is as good as ever on sirius have the s50 and sportster and they run all day, sirius rules and the roast is the best thing on the show in years, i probaly wont be invited as im just a juinor on here, waah :sk: but if you pick me itll make my year. thanks rev |

Sheraton Manhattan wasn't bad for the price. (*if you book early enough) It's close enough to walk to sirius and the surrounding bar(s).
A day later and my room would have been $230/nt... (again, book early) |

Well I just missed the last roast because I couldn't check my e-mail from work. I dropped you a libe Bob reminding you of that.
As a super fan, I listened to Howard on 66WNBC to current with a slight lapse while I couldn't get Howard in South Jersey before he got on 94WYSP.
I'm 7 years younger than Howard but our lives paralleled unbelievely. My oldest and his are the same age, my second and his second are the same age, my third, well not, and my forth and Howard's third are a year apart.
My divorce and his were about 2 years different, and I didn't marry or get to live with a FHM model for my second.
As a miserable man, got most beat:
My first wife took off with a millionaire and left me with the four kids, the mortgage, and half the income.
After about a year the rich boy ran me down with his car and it eventually cost me my job. My new girlfriend who is disabled with bi-polar disorder, nursed me back to health and we moved in with her just before the house was taken.
Her and I finally got on our feet financially and went on vacation in the carribean. while there we had a ceremony that wasn't supposed to be legal in the u.s.
her ex found out and had us declared married to beat alimony and child support, back 1/2 income.
did I mention just after getting a new job, I got the dreaded midnight knock on the door from the cops to tell me my sons aged 16 &19 were in an accident. "They aren't dead they said, one's in Cooper and the other is in Trenton".
The one is ok now, the other one only can walk with crutches.
Did I mention that NJ auto insurance works from the household for personal injury. Well not working, not married, and with the kids not related to my girlfriend(now wife) I had no insurance for them. $1/2 million bills coming to the house.
My cunt ex-wife continues to want to fuck me over. I ignore shit from her lawyer and he wins more money from me, As Kinason so elequently put it "it never ends, it never ends" |

Bob, there are several reasons why I should be in the audience for the next roast. I'd make a great audience member-
I can act sad & shocked-like Jim Florentine's girlfriend after she saw his W-2 from the last year.
Or I can laugh at the roast like Sal's wife did when he whipped out his little ant-eater for the 1st time.
I will be very quiet,observative and take notes- like Artie at an all you can eat buffet!

I listen to Howard all day between drining to and from work, while at the office. I am from a small town of Woonsocket RI, and would otherwise never get a chance to go to NY and visit the studios, this would be a great experience for me and i would appreciate your consideration for me to be picked. :D |

Hi Bob,
I know it's a shot in the dark, but I would love to go to the roast. Here is my sad story and how I'm such a big fan and why you should pick me.
When I was in high school I would tape the channel 9 show on my f-ing beta max. Hooker Howeywood squares was the best show ever.
As soon as Howard announced that he was going to Sirius, I bought a shit load of stock and signed up for the service, in hopes that he would come on sooner that 1/9/06.
The sad part….. I was in a car accident and fractured my neck and became a quadriplegic…. The doctors gave me no chance of recovery… my wife left me… and I had to move home w/ my folks. Long story short, 5 years later, I made a full recovery and have dedicated my life to work w/ handicap people.

Whenever you have a stand-up gig, I always send out a mass e-mailing to my buddies who live in whatever town you're playing... to help promote you.
When Howard moved to Sirius, I wrote numerous letters to Baba-Booey and Sabean --- telling them just how much of a positive contribution you would make to his channels.
Because I'm a short, fat, bald guy in my mid 30s with bad skin and glasses, I can't just walk in off the street and show up at the studio like these little 18-year-old female whores do. So, after 20 years of being a die-hard Stern fan, it would be great to finally see what everyone looks like in person. (Actually, I did meet Robin once at her book signing.)

Here's my plea to get on the roast.
I've been listening to and watching Howard since the age of 9-10ish when my mom first turned on an episode. 11 years later, I am still a faithful follower.
I'm a senior in college whose interests involve alcohol, drugs, bad 80's rock, and banging fat chicks when I'm too drunk to remember my social security number. Thus, I think I would represent the college demographic well. And I'm ready to roast the shit out of some staff members, and if I'm not funny, I'll gladly wax H100 into my chest or asshair...or get a shitty Stern Fist Logo tattoo that I'll regret within 20 years.
I don't have much else to say other than it has been my dream to get on this show. I am a guitarist, and have a little roast material written already. I think it'd be magical to have a musical portion of the roast. Hook it up for a loyal fan!!!
