Mutt

I'm Mutt, owner of Stern Fan Network and host of the Super Fan Roundtable on Sirius Howard 101. I don't really have a bio prepared but here are answers to the Mutt most Frequently Asked Questions:

Why are you called Mutt? Well, many many years ago I named my dog Wonder Mutt after the dog in the movie Summer School. I usually just called he Mutt. When I signed up on my first message board I needed a screen name & she was lying at my feet under the desk. I decided to take her name. When I started SFN it was already my regular handle & it's just stuck.

How/why did you make SFN? I wanted to learn how to write websites. I started making BarTourOnline.com which was a index of area bars, the drink specials, the entertainment schedules, photo galleries, message boards, etc. One day I was listening to Howard and someone was saying how they plugged their book on the show the previous day & the website crashed. I was outraged that Howard didn't have a site & wasn't making a commission off of this guys book sales & then it dawned one me, there really should be a Stern website. There were several I frequented but none had the new styled message boards like I was working with so I switched gears & having been working on SFN ever since.

How did you get the radio show? I just sorta fell into it. Howard wanted a radio version of this website. Jon Hein was the original host though it was always a temporary position until the Wrap Up Show started. Being the head of the fan site, each week I'd send him contact info for potential guests. I was on for more than half of the 13 shows he hosted & it seemed like I was going to be a regular. Then during the 13th show we went to the first break, Jon turned to me and said "OK, when we come back you're going to be the host." It was a complete shock & I've been the host ever since.

Follow me on Twitter @SternFanMutt. I'm trying to get better at tweeting out SFRT pics but admittedly, I'm not real good at Twitter yet but I've got facebook down pat. SFNMutt on Facebook

Doctor Ivan

Doctor Ivan has been associated with SternFanNetwork.com since the year 2000 and was promoted to the SFN staff when Howard went to Sirius in 2006 because Mutt was very persuasive in a bar and Ivan took the job in a moment of pure weakness and brotherly love for him.

He was first introduced to The Stern Show back in 1981 when Howard was broadcasting on DC101 and has been a hardcore fan ever since. In 1995 he created the popular forum THSMB.com also known as The Traveling Howard Stern Message Board which "traveled" because it got booted off of every free service imaginable until the members coughed up enough funds for private server space.

Currently Ivan is working as a graphic designer (DoctorIvan.com) creating promotional graphics for people associated with The Show, a voice over artist for web comics DarkBrain.com and is producing and writing an internet radio show with Lois Burak (The Lolo Show on LoisBurak.com). He is happily married and one day hopes to find a cure for baldness while he "treads lightly".
