Something went wrong with the braking settings and all the stopping power went to the front wheels and the suspension/struts can't take the stress of scrubbing all the car's kinetic energy . . . at 200 mph. So they literally sheer off. I've never seen it either - this is a computer flaw since biasing front to back stopping responsibilities is handled automatically.

The Pakistani match fixing stuff doesn't really bother me for some reason. I've always been a fan of India, Pakistan, SriLanka and the West Indies. I don't know why that is but I love it when they beat Australia and South Africa.

I was enjoying the Ashes until Yesterday when England were bowled out for 180.
Australian wickets are starting to fall but 365 is probably alredy too much for Englan to chase, but I suppose they did get 500 in the second innings at Brisbane.

Hopefully Leeds can string a few good results together after that brilliant win against Burnley -now only 3 points away from an automatic promotion spot- although there is a long way to go and Todays match against QPR will be difficult.

I went to see Yorkshire beat Middlesex in the CB40 match at Scarborough a couple of weeks ago (Scarborough is my favourite ground). You can't beat lying back in a deckchair in the sun watching cricket, eating fish and chips and swigging cans of carlsberg out of a coolbox - and the match went down to the last ball.

Off to Scarborough again on Saturday for the semi-final then Headingley on Sunday for the Pakistan one-dayer and then hopefully (if we beat Warwickshire this Saturday) Lords for the final on the following Saturday.

I still don't think we will win the ashes but there again I never expect England to beat Australia - it saves on the disappointment and makes the rare victories more enjoyable.
