      Got the Vitamix yesterday! I drove 50 mi to buy it. And they weren't giving $50 off. But I did get some free recipe books, cutting boards and spatulas. :rolleyes: I would have rather saved the $$ but they are good books. So far all I've done is clean it and watch the dvd. lol But I'm making fresh broccoli soup for lunch today. It should take all of 5 min. This thing is amazing! I feel like I bought a Rolls Royce. :P

        I was inspired and bought a really nice blender for $75. It has a food processor that I chop sweet potatoes and onions up in together lol and make awesome side dishes. Also I've made massive smoothies that would make normal people gag but I love them. Spinach, broccoli, blueberries, yogurt, milk, a banana and an apple. Drinking two of tnose a day and I feel strong and on point lol.

        I'd expect that I'll be sticking to the recipes for a while but experimenting will be fun. It's definitely going to take a while to get used to. It has its own "flight rules" as far as working the controls. It's not quite a DC-10 but I may have a few bumpy takeoffs and landings until I figure it out. lol
