      I went to U of A and worked all around the Valley (know those political signs that pop up during the summer before every election? I used to help put those up for extra money) before going back but I still come out to see my family.

      I still laugh at everyone in California who thinks 95 degrees is hot, which is pretty much everyone.

        Exactly. I had a friend in from Oregon last week and he and his wife were saying how "hot" it was over the weekend..when the high was 85 I think. My wife and I told them that this is the best time of year actually...another month or so, and we cannot go out of the house until the late evenings..and that is even too warm sometimes.

        Mesa is nice. I am a very average golfer, so I play with friends sometimes in Mesa. I am sure your parents enjoy it. I could have gone to college at ASU, but I wanted to get away from my parents..so I went to U of A...2 hours away was far enough

        Went to Pendleton after college, so I am familiar with Laguna, Newport, Dana Point...We enjoy going there every year or so. I try to stay out of LA, due to all the traffic but I enjoy it there. Small world we live in!

      Born at Good Sam, but I moved out to Southern California before I was old enough to remember. My mother and her family are from here, though, so we'd come and visit biannually. As a I heard a comedian once joke, I'm old enough to remember where everything didn't used to be.

      Scottsdale, know it well. My parents live in Mesa, but I always say Phoenix to anyone not from the area, kind of like how I say I'm from Los Angeles rather than Monrovia. Most people know about the former but rarely the latter.

        Yes, I am...Scottsdale actually. I grew up in Tempe though and went to college in Tucson...so I have stayed in Arizona most of my life. How about you?

        I took me 4 hours to even login to the internet to read up on the loss..damn...heartbroken. That was a great game..and I am proud...but this one will hurt for a few days..lol

        well, when I joined SFN, it took me 2 minutes to find a pic of Quint..so he probably did the same thing. My knowledge of MMA is pretty limited...so no reason to post on there...not that my knowledge of Stern is much better, but I can be a blowhard on here and have fun! You feeling ok these days bud?
