As you know, we've been planning a SFN Halloween Party and I'm happy to say that I finally have everything locked in and ready to be announced. We're having a costume party Friday October 26th at 49 Grove in the West Village. It's a swank lounge with great tunes, lots of ladies, and sure to be a blast. The night will start out with performances from Sour Shoes, Red Peters, Ape Fight, & the Bleeding Deacons. Will finish it up with a late night DJ mixing stuff you could drunken dance to.

STERN FAN NETWORK & PINK VODKA PRESENT
MUTT'S FALL BALL
FRIDAY OCTOBER 26th @ 49 GROVE NYC

CHARITY PARTY: It's completely open to the public so tell your friends and tell em to wear a costume. It is Halloween after all. Come have drinks with the wackpack and do some good. We'll be collecting $20 at the door for Alex's Lemonade Stand. It's a children's cancer research fund based out of Philly and a registered 501c3 public charity. If you'd like to make a donation, checks can be made out directly to "Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation" and collected at the party or you can donate online. Tax info can be found here.

ENTERTAINMENT: Sour Shoes will be welcoming the guests when the party starts at 8 PM, Ape Fight will play a set to get things going, Red Peters will stroll the lounge & entertain us with on of his classics, The Bleeding Deacons will play an acoustic set, and Tabitha Stevens will handle the charity raffle. At 11 PM, the DJ will start & play thru the rest of the night and the bar doesn't close until 4 AM. We caught the DJ the other night and love his mixture of dance, rap, rock, & 80's music. Our VIPs will be taken care of with Pink Vodka bottle service all evening. We're also setting up a Pink Vodka Lemonade drink special with proceeds going to the charity.

APPEARANCES: This is a prime chance to hang with show regulars. We've received confirmations from the following VIPs. Scott Ferrall, Sour Shoes, Reverend Bob Levy, Shuli, Yucko The Clown, Billy Mira, The Bleeding Deacons, Don Jameson, Beetlejuice, High Pitch Eric, Zolar, Mariann from Brooklyn, Jeff the Drunk, Irish John, Double A, Angry Black, Kenneth Keith Kallenbach, King of all Blacks, Fred the Elephant Boy, Debbie the Queefer, Eve the Queefer, Hook Nosed Mike, Joey Pajamas, GoodyDickman, & Steve Smithe.

PRIZES: There will be prizes for best costume, a door prize, and various giveaways. Tom Taylor @ TSS Radio have donated a Stiletto 2 & a Sportster 5. These Sirius radios aren't even out yet. VIPs will be signing a guitar donated by Beertruck @ Go Go Guitars at the red caret entrance to the party. We'll be raffling them off at the end of the night. Other sponsors who'd like to get involved and help our charity should shoot me an email to sternfannetwork at gmail dot com. Whether you'd be interested in donating a prize, making a contribution, or matching what we raise, your help would be greatly appreciated.

PRESS: This is a red carpet event which will be covered by Howard TV & The Howard 100 News.

49 GROVE - 49 Grove Street New York, NY 10014 ( MAP ) ( CITYSEARCH )
This is a 21 and over event. Proper ID required.

By now you guys have heard about Savanna Samson and Reverend Bob Levy's porno "Stood Up". It's is the embellished life story of Levy with Savanna as his evil agent. Levy doens't actually get naked and you'll all be disappointed to hear that the doesn't do the windmill but savanna is one hot bitch.

Savanna & Bob are having a Vivid release party Thursday, Aug. 9 at Ultra (37 W.26th Street) in NYC. We'll be heading over right after the Super Fan Roundtable. I hear rumors that some of the other porn girls will be there but no confirmation yet.

Stern VIPs will be comped at the door and are invited to a private open bar party starting at 8PM. (you need to let me know you are coming so I can put you on the list) The private party runs until 10PM when the general public is allowed in. Cover is $20 at the door but if you tell em your an SFNers, you'll save $5. That $15 not only gets you in the door but you'll get a copy of the DVD. Savanna & Levy will be signing them and will be available for photographs.

UPDATE: Ranger has hooked us up with a collection of free passes to the private party. if you want to come and you are certain you can make it, let me know. I'll put you on the list.

Be sure to email SFN's RangerBobo at Bob@jonesbeachevents.com and give him a heads up that you are coming. Tell us in this thread too. Depending on how many people say they are coming, he'll reserve us an area.

Reverend Bob already gave away a half dozen passes to the VIP party so unless you really are a VIP, please don't ask. They are all gone.

I went down to the last Vivid party and it was a fun time. Bunch of photographers & porno chicks running around. If that's not enough action for ya,

JULY 4TH KILLERS OF COMEDY SHOW
HOUSE OF BLUES ATLANTIC CITY

I'm sure you all already know about this one but The Killers of Comedy have a huge show at the House of Blues @ the Showboat in Atlantic City NJ. It's the regular crew of Reverend Bob Levy, Sal the Stockbroker, Richard Christy, & Shuli with Jim Florentine, Beetlejuice, & Yucko the Clown. if you've somehow not seen these boys, this is a fantastic lineup. in an awesome venue. I've been there for many shows and it's always been cool. Venue info

BUY TICKETS ONLINE
at TICKETMASTER
thru HOB Ticketing
or by calling 609-236-BLUE
The place is huge with several bars. the 1st floor is wide open general admission. you should be able to push your way right up front. I think these tickets are $25. there is also a wraparound balcony with reserved seats. These are $40.

I just tried to buy some to make sure they are still available and there was some ticketmaster issue which wouldn't let it go thru. I'm sure they'll be available later today. you can however buy tickets over the phone by dialing 609-236-BLUE and pressing "1" or thru HOB ticketing.

We'll be hitting this one for sure. who else is going? We should all get together for a pre or post party. If I get enough people together, Bob says, he and the boys will join us. Shoot me your party ideas. I'm gonna make some calls. if we all get general admission tickets we could just pick an area where we'll all congregate. the bar to the left of the stage and the area between the bar and the stage is a pretty good spot.

I HAVE 5 PAIRS OF TICKETS TO GIVE AWAY!!!
If you are going to be in the area for the 4th, want to go, and haven't gotten free tickets before, tell me why you should be the one to get them.

Beetlejuice is going to be on Howard this Wednesday to promote his new "Bad as Can" DVD and his Beer Pong Table. Ivan already reviewed the Beet DVD so I figured I'd handle the drinking game. ;)

Just Pong is making the table. I was able to get a prototype & test it out Friday. You might just throw a sheet of plywood on a couple trash cans to play beer Pong in your neck of the woods, but now you can be a pro. This collapsible table was a big hit at the party. Not only did the game draw a big crowd, but everyone's wives pulled me aside to find out where they could buy one to stick under the tree for their guy.

The table will be available at www.jollydwarf.com next week

OK people I just got word that Yucko is bringing Stankervision to DayDreams in Philly tomorrow night!!! I know thats not much notice but you are all invited down for hot naked chicks, the filming of the Stankervision season finale, and beers on SFN. It's Thursday night July 14th. Yucko will be interviewing the girls and the crowd so come down and you just might be on MTV.

DayDreams
5200 Unruh Ave Philadelphia Pa 215-338-3838

We'll be getting there around 8pm. I'll be the loud drunk wheeling a keg-a-rator around the place so if you want a couple free Yeingling drafts, find me and show me a print out of one of your posts from here at SFN.

Daydreams SFN's favorite Philly strip club and the owner promises the club will be stuffed full of the hottest women. It's a bring your own place. stick to plastic or you'll have to hand the bottles over to the bartender.

Check out pics from our DayDreams Trip with Beetlejuice and more from our DayDreams trip with High Pitch Eric.

I'll be sure to bring home photos of our Yucko the Clown trip!!! :clowny:

High Pitch Eric gave me a call and said that he was going to be at a bar in Philly with his accountant's band. I told him we'd love to meet up with him and told him to find out the who, what, where, and when. After I did some digging and made a couple phone calls, I found out that High Pitch was a little confused. The band was Clockwise. You can visit their website by clicking here. Eric's manager Jonas also manages the band. Turns out they were opening for Sammy Hagar / David Lee Roth at the Tweeter Center in Camden and then playing at the XGames the following day! Wow, little different than catching some band at a bar. Joey Boots hooked me up with Jonas and he hooked Widget and me up with a couple passes to the show.

Eric made a special request to go to a local strip club, DayDreams. I gave the manager, Trey a call and let him know that we'd be showing up with High Pitch and Clockwise. After a short conversation, Trey said he'd hook us up.

Widget, Timmer, and me hoped in the jeep and took off for NYC Friday. We took 95 North which eventually becomes 295 South for some damn reason. You are supposed to get off at 195 and take it back to 95 / NJ turnpike. Hey what the hell do I know, we just kept going straight. That fucking road make a god damn 180 and sure as shit we were heading south. All the sudden I noticed the the sun was on the wrong side of the truck. We decided to keep going anyway. We were drinking and I must have been wrong somehow. How could we be going the wrong way, we never got off of 95? Next thing I know we were in Camden. Holy crap, talk about a freaking detour! We almost just jumped on the AC expressway, blew of NYC, and hit the beach. We pulled a u-ie got on 73 and then the turnpike. A case of Yeingling later, we were just outside of the city and the rain started coming down. things weren't going well for us. Thank god we were almost done a case by then, because we didn't care one bit. We were having a blast. So what if our 1.5 hour drive into the city took us 3.5 hours. We had good tunes and good brews keping us busy.

We drove right the hotel and parked in the garage right next door. ($22 for 24 hours) The people at the Marcel were great and gave us one cool ass swanky room, corner room on the 7th floor. Perfect view right down 3rd. ($149 for a friday night, 1 king sized bed and a rollaway bed) Since it was still raining, we skipped the walk this time and caught a cab to CBGBs. The boys were right out front still, and we all hung out for awhile shooting the shit. We helped Sal and his crew carry in their equipment, then grabbed some beers and enjoyed the show.

CBGBs is the brithplace of punk and the punkers were out in full force. This chick from just outside the Czech republic was oinstage and she was great. band was called "the start" Sal's band Facial rocked.

All of the photos from the begining of the trip till this point in the story were lost. We had drunken camera trouble ande the battery fell out while storing a photo. It screwed up the film and when I got the battery back it, it automatically reformated the film. Anyway, here are the photos that made it. We had a great time and it was great to meet some of the new members and get to see old friends as well.

Just to get a feel for the bar, here's the mens crapper.
[IMG] This is the only pic of Facial on stage that survived. The band is great and everyone says the same thing. "I can't believe how good they are." Check out http://www.facialband.com and click here to get their CD

[IMG] I don't want to know whats going on here, but it looks dirty.

[IMG] SongParodyMan, dude I don't think you need those shades. it's night time. it's raining. we're inside a dark ass bar. :)
[IMG] Sal packing up
[IMG] Widget caught this pic us Zolar trying to get into my pants

[IMG] Dan sharing some of his photos with us.
[IMG] Don't remember her name. The best I can figure is she was the wife/girlfirend of some guy at he bar who liked the band. How's that for details. :)
[IMG] Sal preparing his trademark smile

[IMG] We closed the bar. I'm not sure when Facial loaded up all of their crap but I didn't help. Sorry, I think I was drunk by this point.
[IMG] Here's my baby with her bag-o-band flyers. Last time we were at CBGB, widget brought a bunk a punk band flyer home for her oldest son. He really dug them so I grabbed him some more.
