You would think that a man with such passion for these channels would bite at the bit to share his passions and vision of these channels with the fans, esp that it is a new year with a fresh start. I really thought Tim would have said to himself pre-entering the show today that I will not give the answer that everyone expects I say,,, "It is what it is" and guess what his first answer was.....? How do you do that, Tim? AyeAYeAye I think Tim's passion for these channels have been blind sided by meat and potatoes.

Tim should run for office. He spent an hour giving non-answers, just like most politicians.

In other words, Tim was not prepared and had no intentions to become prepared anytime soon, so he took the easy way out........ when someone asks him a question,,, rather answer that question,, he throws it back in the face of the caller.... Chris from Az,, was that first casualty and it sounded so weak when Tim threw it back at him,,,Tim just wanted this to be done with,,, I mean 15 minutes into the show Tim made some comment like,, "Wo,,,, I have been on the radio (hotseat) to last me another 5 years or something,, while he still barely answered a single question. Mutt you led Tim , and I feel you made him look a whole lot better than he actually was.... you could have took him down , but you thought of the organization rather than yourself and for that I say, this BUDS fer you.

I am so utterly confused. Why all the hubbub and seriousness? Jesus crimony. Mutt's trying his hardest to do an entertaining show and give the fans what they want to hear, and give the show a ton of good support from people that would be tickled pink is Tim threw us a bone. What is so hard about answering a fucking question? It's not a goddamn murder trial and Mutt's the prosecuting attorney. It's an entertainment show with grown people acting like nitwits. Is he even capable of uttering the phrase "I don't know."? It's sooo frustrating to hear those same cliches over and over.

Especially after hearing Mutt's background work trying to make sure Tim's prepared, it just seems real shitty to leave him hanging out to dry like that. We all no Mutt is powerless to make Tim answer anything he doesn't want to, so it's not any reflection on Mutt, but it happened on his show. Jesus, what are you going to do when Tim doesn't pan out as a guest? Can't exactly have your people tell his people you're going to "pass" on the appearance.

There's just so much shit we would love to hear anything about, it just sucks to have Tim go robo-cliche-man again.

Mutt obviously prefers his water pig lightly grilled but all joking aside, you clearly did the best you could with what you had and didn't let anyone down.

What pisses me off is Tim's high fiving everyone in the hallway,, woohoo Howard is back for another 5 years.... or the Tim that goes on TWUS and proclaims his love, dedication and passion for "these channels" he just can't take it , and is so anxious to get busy,,,, making the channels a better place for everyone,, Now,, this was just last December,,,, so now we are in the new year, Tim has his chance to rise up,, and show us underlings that he is just like us,, has the same passion as we all do ,... so he understands a month ago that he will get this chance to bond with the fans on the SFRT in a few weeks,, and one would think,, ok,, I am going to display my overly enthusiastic selfless love of these channels with the wonderful fans and give them some insight into this work in progress,,, so with all of this time to prepare ,, I guess just wasnt enuff time for Tim as he comes on tonight, not only laying a fat waterpig egg but even worse,,,, he comes out the gate with alll ears in the Stern world filled with anticipation and answers the very first question with "it is what it is".... from there on out I reallized ,,, you can lead the pig to water,, but you can't make the water pig drink it, cuz Tim just isn't thirsty enough,, and that does NOT inspire us.....

Tim is slowly slipping into the "Pig Vomit" role....

i recall being on the FIRST "meet the PD" in 2006...simply asking Tim if the channels would ever reach a point where by Sunday u could have a clear n reliable schedule for the rest of the week thru to Saturday and "why do i have to check SFN for the h100/101 scehdule??" n he blew the whole question off.

u should do ANY more shows with Tim EVER. seriously. the pattern is established now.

PLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZ start asking Howard for permission to do a SIM SABEAN interview! . then let the SIM machine be partially programmed by SFN!

it would be a hit to howards ego but at this point they should play his show twice a day on sirius stars...there is no such thing as howard 100/101 move pharell to one of the lower tier sports talk channels...put jackies show on raw dog and just end it this thing has been on for 5 years and is less than 5 years from being done and the "work" is still in progress

Howard ONCE said he would CONSIDER Shuli for the "Jackie chair."

I'll bet Shuli then said, in the back office, that he would do it for a small salary.

And that was it.

If he wants ANY money, they don't want to give it to him.

Tim is high-fiving people because Stern's live show provides 16-18 hours of new content for 1 1/12 channels.

And he can't find enough low-rent broadcasts to cover the other .5 channel
