Ask all you want. You'll get nothing. Tim's an empty suit who doesn't know anything. If you want answers you need to have a Meet the Agent w/Don Buchwald. Hes the only one not named Stern that knows anything.

And Tim since we know you hang out here 24/7 Id just like to say that you are a waste of space, time and Sirius budget dollars. If you are making 5 bucks a year you are being overpaid.

That could actually be a really interesting show. I'd love to hear Buchwald interviewed, especially if the interviewer was really sharp.

every time i've done the show I've pressed him. after I ask him the same question or say "yeah that's great but it doesn't answer my question" 3-4 times I finally give up & move on to the next question. I feel he's been aggravated w/ me every time. I do my best to get answers but I can't be disrespectful either. he's the boss & it's great that he gives us this chance to question him.

alot of these questions he simply won't be able to answer. we already know he won't be able to answer anything about what's going on w/ Artie, what happened in Dec, or whether he'd be back. there's the family to consider & it would be unprofessional. if he was fired or whatever the hell happened, it's obviously not being discussed by Sirius, Tim, or Howard & my little show isn't going to change that. same goes for contract stuff, budget stuff, etc.

still, some of these topics have possibilities of getting real answers. i'll try to press those ones instead of wasting a bunch of time pressing questions that I know he CAN'T answer.

    love it too

    - Why did you have Howard pass on doing voice overs for Transformers?
    - Is there any possibility of Howard making it to the iphone app if / when he re-signs?
    - Hypothetically, if Howard was offered the $50 mill American Idol show, what would you advise him?
    - Since you are Howard, Robin, Fred, & Gary's agent why did Jackie never get lumped into the mix?
    - Is there anything to recommended Howard do or not do that in retrospect you regret?

ATTENTION EVERYONE: many of you are going way over the line trashing Tim. you CAN NOT make these personal attacks against him. reel it the fuck in or leave. if you don't want to lose your account, go edit your posts.

I could swear they talked about it on the show at least once (of course, they could have been full of shit). Howard said that Jackie felt he'd get ripped off if he joined the Buchwald clan. Something like "What falls off Howard goes to Robin, and what falls off Robin goes to Fred". This was back when Jackie was actually on the show, and I don't remember him being super-angry with what Howard was saying.

well, IMHO I think robin was upset w/ the news but even more upset w/ the wrap up show. basically everyone int he office. I think she was leaving for the day & Howard talked her into coming back in. she probably said I don't want to even talk about this anymore I just want to go home & he probably said, we'll totally drop it. lets just finish the show like nothing happened. and then that's exactly what they did

then on the WUS, they had already dropped the robin discussion the day before. they had gotten her upset earlier in the week & they totally dropped it. I'm sure they were already not going to discuss robin & her charities based on that alone. then throw the new things she was upset about & the walkout & they probably said I ain't touching that with a 10' pole. they were still apologizing to robin & after Howard makes the decision to drop it, can you really imagine them going against him an hour later?

then with my show, we had already been beating her up & after hearing her go off on the wrap up show the day before I told myself, maybe we lay off robin this week. everyone's been piling up on her & even though there was plenty to bust her balls about, the bottom line is she was trying to use her position, money, & fame to help under privileged children and we fucked w/ her enough. then the walkout happened & when I spoke to howard I told him how I had decided to lay off robin this week but now I guess we have to talk about the walkout. by the time I started the show I told the panel, I changed my mind & i'm going to address the walkout & then we're gonna move on. I don't want to dwell on it or beat her up anymore than we already have. she's always been very good to me & our show and if she's having a rough day, i don't want to add to it. that's basically what I said on air.

Meet the PD was a Tim idea. it's something he used to do in the WYSP days and "the fans loved it". I enjoyed the suggestion & think it's fun to do a different show. it's a chance for fans to call in to speak to the PD directly w/ show suggestions. even if he can't answer all of our questions, it's a fun show.

Meet the Press was Jason's suggestion. We used to do quickie interviews w/ different staff members. We kept saying how we want to do them again. We had a couple good news questions & were setting up a quickie w/ the news. we weren't sure who would be the perfect person on the news team to do. then we though maybe we get 2 of them, then jason said how about we get several news people in here & do it Meet the PD style. I loved the idea & though we worked on it together, it was Jason's idea. he is my producer after all.

the conspiracy show is another collaborative effort. I always see the conspiracy type questions here & I think is was "is ned real" that really got me going. we talked & decided to do a whole conspiracy show. jason loves the conspiracy's and after doing the first one he's been all about doing another one.

I disagree with this bit (I think she's using her "charity" work as a cover for acting like a socialite, and she's picking charities based on the people she can get to come to parties, as opposed to how much it's going to help anyone and who it's going to help), but I'm not going to start/continue an argument over it. Aside from the fact that it's been done over and over again, I'm not going to win a fight with the site's boss.

Tim addressed this last time he was on Mutt's show and the answer was total bullshit. He said the negotiations went down to the last minute, they weren't sure of all the details, and (best of all) they didn't have time to mention that it wasn't going to be a live show. As usual it was a ridiculous, untrue statement. Maybe there were details to be worked out but he definitely knew it wasn't going to be a live show and he had plenty of time to say that. He also claimed they did mention the replays in a story they released during XMas break to some obscure publication I never heard off. It couldn't have been more obvious they were trying to hide that fact - why wouldn't they give the details directly to subscribers by Email or on the Sirius website?
  13. vtdonna HATER

When Tim was asked earlier about adding some new programming he claimed there were no "slots" available. I'd like to know which of the current horrible, boring, endlessly replayed shows he has on the air now are so great he couldn't replace them with something new. When Rosie joined Sirius, Howard claimed he wanted to have her show on his channels so he must think there are slots available. I'm sure we'll be bombarded with meaningless management buzzwords - someone might want to start an over/under poll on how often he says "branding".

Wow-we....post #52 ....VERY harsh imo....however I do agree that Tim IS HERE 24/7 reading our threads/posts....Fan Feedback!!
I would ask him why all the obvious "pretending" from Howard & Co...why does Howard NOW bash the SFN and call us meanies and wolves....I remember Howard used to "LOVE THE SFN" and always came back from weekends or vacations..."I was on the SFN all weekend" or "I read this or that on the SFN".....
so what happened when the show moved to Satellite??

and I would ask Tim how much time they all spend on the SFN???
    ....and Who's WHO???

Who does HE consider an A-list celeb?? why won't so many do the show??
and is HE PREPARED if Howard doesn't re-sign a new contract with Sirius??
What are Tim's plans??? would he return to Terrestrial Radio??

Give us a little history of how he met Howard!!
what does he think of H100 News???

It should be a GREAT Show!!! an INTERESTING show!!!
    can't wait....

I disagree just because Robin has a history of working with charities geared towards kids and from all reports that is exactly what her foundation continues to do. There are a shitload more charities that she could work with that would garner bigger name guest lists than the ones she has decided to help.

I also think it was a case of Robin feeling like people were talking bad about her behind her back and it hurt her feelings. The way the story came out is was like the whole office was badmouthing her and her charity instead of being upfront with her.

I would be fine with you just asking him programming questions as long as he would answer them truthfully. There is a shameful lack of original programming on the two channels.
And I would also love an answer to the Best of the Best of the Week nonsense that isn't management bullshit. Playing clips from replays on Friday during vacation weeks offends me as a paying customer.

Not to beat this to death (alright I guess I am). I find it hard to believe that Howard 100 news, the daily rundown on Howardstern.com, the Wrap Up Show, and Howard TV all independently decided to ignore Robin calling herself a miserable cunt and walking off the show. Howard had to have directed everybody not to discuss it.

You could ask Tim if Howard or himself (or both) made that decision. Would Howard do this for anyone else on the staff? How does Tim balance this with the no more bullshit/ free speech stance that the show has taken? Was banning talk of Robin's walkout an initiative or a directive?

I'm psyched for tomorrow, Mutt. Here's a few questions....

    * Even though Howard hasn't made his contract decision public, are you and Gary kept in the loop of which way he might be leaning? By Sirius? by Howard?

    * Why did you yell at me when I interviewed for the tapes job? (true story. I was the guy he said "Ive got to know you'll have Howard's presents under the tree" to during the interview.)

    * What's the one show you wish you could have put on the channels, but it just never came together?

    * Do I look fat in these pants?

    * Does the team peruse new talent or are new shows only going to be a result of show spin-offs.

    * Did it take you time to adjust to the boundaries of Satellite radio vs your days in terrestrial?

    * Who is your most valuable second in command at Sirius.

    * Do you sometimes find yourself sexually attracted to Jared Fox?

    * If Lori gives you a lap dance, will you tell us the truth?

    * Do you sometimes fear that when the world comes to an end, Riley will not protect you?

Ask him what "protecting the brand" means in middle management corporate speak.

Also, please push him hard for a real answer to Bob Levy's accusations.

I asked why don't they do a 5th day of special instead of a best of the week on friday & the response was soemthing like, people are used to best of the week on friday & that's what they'd expect. we don't want to mess w/ the format any more than we have to.

on vacation people suggest a live show all vacation & other people suggest a 5th day of the week's special instead of best of best of. I suggest a combo of the 2. on vacation weeks, give us the 4 day special & then a live friday show w/ whatever crew is working.

Yeah, well I'm used to a live show on weekdays, and when it's not live on Friday, it messes with the format. :D

I was NOT told not to discuss it.

The wrapup show upset robing and the day BEFORE the walkout had decided to drop the Robin discussion. The announced on air they they were dropping it the day BEFORE.

the news upset robin & caused the walkout. it's not crazy to think they felt bad & decided to drop it. they did talk about it on my Meet the Press show so it doesn't seem there was a gag order.

and I explained what happened w/ my show.

FYI, we all usually follow Howard's lead.

It's like in the mafia, where they never say "kill this guy", they say something that sounds harmless, but everyone gets the message. [insert that smiley with the guy shooting a gun here]
