lots of talk about howard's lawsuit this week. he's been ranting on air about it & calling sirius execs cock suckers. the net is full of fans & non-fans debating as to whether Howard is owed money, bitching about the summer vacations, & thanks to O&A faking Howard's schedule they "found" in a copy machine there has been accelerated bitching about the every other Thurs off. oh, & there are rumors of Langford quitting the show + people bitching about Howard not taking Artie back.

fuck you w/ ur i love you. that was my real opinion & a recap of what happened.

howard has said that the whole suicide & arite being in that much trouble w/o him knowing has freaked him out. my translation of that is Artie has gone the way of KC. howard like out of control people but at some point it gets too real. howard has already made it very clear that artie will not be back. but that's not what happened this week & is not what i was writing about.

now as for this clip, it's obvious howard often hears clips for the first time on air even though he says he heard it over the weekend or somebody played it for him. this easily could have been one of those times. the clip he played was after the big artie / nick show. i heard the show & the TMZ clip but hadn't heard what howard played. though i think it's a long shot, I was saying maybe this will sink in & be the catalyst to get howard to call artie. i wasn't saying i think howard will. I was just being positive & I certainly didn't mean to imply that maybe howard will have artie back. i was just talking about a fucking private phone call to check up on him. on my show I've already said I think the next time we'll see artie on the show is as a guest when his book comes out & anything more than that is a pipe dream.

i think he was saying he didn't know things were so bad or that he was high during the show. artie was claiming he was abusing subutex but not doing heroin. he even agreed to random piss tests so I could see howard being in denial about it all and thinking though he's fucked up he's working on getting better. once artie admitted he was carrying around clean urine it was obvious he had been using. he even confessed to doing drugs at his 4th of july party & other events. but after that artie claimed to go to rehab & was clean again. I think howard wanted to believe. towards the end it was obviously very bad & I doubt howard was saying he didn't have a clue then. i can't fault howard for trying to distance himself from all that. so many people have tried to blame him saying he should have done something. what exactly is your point?

well, when i saw jason last langford was still doing reports. this week jason will be in cali for comicon so I won't know until next week. byt then i assume we'll all know.

- Lisa G couldn't cover Ronnie's Wheels audition which was in NYC 30 blocks from the studio but is able to make it to the Hamptons & LA to cover Howard & celebs. Is this really a staffing issue, is it a schedule change conflict, or is it that Ronnie simply wasn't important enough?

- ETM says he will return to being a regular Stern Show caller BUT only if he can cover the Smurfs red carpet premiere. Do you give a shit? Is there a clamoring for Eric on the show? Will Howard want him back?
- Howard says he's not going to make it easy for him and Eric will have to dress like a smurf holding a "I'm a gay Smurf" sign. Is there any way this will happen? What hoops should Howard make him jump through?
- Eric is known for lying to Howard & then not following thru with promises after he gets what he wanted. Will Eric "fool" Howard again? What steps could Howard take to avoid this? Would Howard even try or is whatever Eric does good for radio?

WHAT DO YOU DO ALL DAY?
- Tim wants a list of what Scott does all day. SFNer fccstandards says Tim should give Howard a list of what he does all day. (LINK) If Howard got both lists, who would wind up being the butt of the joke? Who would Howard conclude does more work?
- Scott says he was in studio for Gaga because it's his job to make sure everything goes smoothly and that neither Howard or talent need anything. Coincidentally that's exactly why Tim says he has to be in the studio during the commercial breaks. Who has more of a reason to be there supervising?
- Is Scott sounding more & more like Ronnie? Has this always been his persona or is he back on the alleged juice? ( think push up challenge counting conflict & you didn't get permission to play the tape )
- Scott is accused of taking credit for work he didn't not personally do & the more he explains himself, the worse it gets. When will this back peddling lie train stop?

ARTIE'S BACK... BACK AGAIN
- Howard played a Dan Patrick clip of Artie saying he'd do anything to get back on the show, even sweep the floors. They joked about it & moved on. Did Artie put Howard on the spot with this? Was he making a public plea in hopes of fans contacting the show OR just trying to express how much he liked working there? Will a trip to the shrink get Howard to think he should call Arite OR get him annoyed that Artie is making all this public?
- Howard joked about laying off Jackie & giving the slot to Artie. Would you like to see Nick & Artie fill the slot? Great idea or insulting?

WOLFIE WENT TO..
- Howard plays Wolfie bits almost every day. Is it too much? Do you like them & do they lead to fun discussions?

ROBIN IS A STEREOTYPE
- Robin went kayaking in the bay but 1 wave later and it takes a life jacket, another kayaker, a dock, boat, & 3 boaters to rescue her. Why does she put herself in these pathetic situations? If she was a child, we'd simply tell her she's not allowed near the water. Is it fair to put the people around her in this situation where they are obligated to help her?
- Though Robin owns a pool she says she physically can't learn to swim & does not have the time. What could she do to make time in her schedule? I'm pretty sure just the amount of time she's wasted getting rescued would do it.
- Robin admits she was frustrated in traffic on her way home from the beach & opened it up when she found a break to make up for lost time. Still, when she got pulled over it was because she was a black woman in a nice car. Is this the first time Robin has pulled the race card?
- What is the next black single woman stereotype she'll slide into?

GAGA FOR GAGA
- Lady Gaga came in & performed. Was this Howard's biggest get? Some people point to Billy Joel, Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, etc but they all came in after there huge moment in the sun while this is more like Madonna in the 80s. Has there ever been a bigger guest more at the height of their fame?
- Howard told her this was one of the best performances ever. Was it? What compares? (LINK)
