FAVORITE MOMENT FROM THE WEEK - what's your favorite show moment from the past week?

RED CARPET INTERVIEWS
- Johnny Fratto is the new west coast Stuttering John & Steve Griillo will be the east coast version. Do you like the choices? if not, who would you have put in those slots?
- Who do you expect better stuff from?
- What happened to Gary Garver? Was he not pulling his weight?
- Howard says Grillo is already blowing it by Jackie style running to Page 6 about the new gig & that Johnny is being too nice pulling punches. Who will be the first to lose the gig?

FIRED BY THAT GOLDEN JEW MUTHA FUCKA
- Riley was fired this week for selling his own under the table commercials on his show. Was it right for Tim to fire him or is it understandable that he can't survive on the pathetic pittance slave wages Sirius gives him?
- Howard went to bat for Riley and got him a second chance. if he does a session w/ Meet The Shrink & can get cleared by the doc, he can get his show back. Will Riley be able to play ball? how many sessions will it take?

ARTIE DOWN TO FIGHTING WEIGHT
- Artie is dropping weight like crazy (approx 50lbs already) like we've all hoped he would and even with something so positive, he's catching shit. He credits it to being off the subutex & jet skiing but people are skeptical with accusations of anything from lap band surgery to he's back on blow. What will it take for fans to cut this guy some slack & go back to unconditional love?
- Is jet skiing exercise?
- What else do you credit for his awesome weight loss? (he seems to be eating alot better & he's not drinking)

WACKPACKERS
- Lots of wackpack calls this week (Riley, ETM, Gary the Retard, Yucko, Fred the Elephant Boy, HPE, Ass Napkin, Sour Shoes) & fans seemed to love it. Do we need more or less?
- Who has been most missed?
- Should they fly in Gary the Retard? Is he worth it?
- Where is Beetlejuice. Could they have him sit in for a whole show, George Takie style or would it be too much?

FANS BITCH ABOUT HOWARD
- A caller gave Howard shit for his new Hit's 1 musical tastes & felt betrayed that he's lost his hard rock/classic rock vibe. Howard thought it was complete nonsense saying he's still just as into hard rock & classic rock. he just likes today's music too. Other fans say Howard is old school & out of touch with what's happening today. Which is it people? is there an issue here?
- IMHO, he see's today's movies, watches more of today's TV than me & is passionate about it, and obviously likes the music of yesterday & today. Seems pretty well rounded. So he doesn't know how much a gallon of milk is. big deal. There are plenty of guys who's wives do the shopping & haven't had to pick up a gallon of milk in years.

I'VE GOT 9 BAFROOMS BOFF
- Gary mentioned that he has 9 bathrooms and some fans were a little put off. Are fans really shocked that the producer of the greatest radio show in the world makes bank?

Jason reported that Fred the Elephant Boy grabbed an entire case of Klondike Bars on last weeks SFRT but Fred claims he only took 1. For the record, he took a book out of the glom (which he asked for) box & 2 Klondides (which he helped himself to).

GETTING ON THE SHOW: Each week I start a roundtable brainstorming thread where the fans help build our topics and a listening thread where people discuss the show while it's happening. if you'd like to do the show, get in there and participate. Once you've been around for awhile and see how the show works, ask to be on and pick a open date. The schedule can be found here. We have 4 people on each show and I try to make at least one of them a brand new person who's never been on. You can make your requests here in the Super Fan Roundtable forum or you can email them here.


GUESTS OF THE SHOW: The show airs from the Sirius studios in NYC Times Square. We're in studio 21 on the 36th floor of the McGraw Hill building which is on the corner of 49th & 6th. (Google MAP) The building spans all the way over to 48th & there's a back entrance so you can get to the lobby from either 48th or 49th.

Guests should be there at 6PM so we can do mic checks. The show goes live at 7PM. You can not bring any friends. Our studio is very small and there's really no place for them. I'll need your full name in advance and you need to bring your ID for security. If I don't put you on the list and you don't have your ID, you will not be able to get in. Go to the security desk downstairs to get a pass. They'll tell you where to go from there.

If you are driving, you can park across the street from Hurley's Bar. If you go to Hurley's and get a drink or food, they will validate the parking slip bringing the price down to $18. Here's a map. Point A is the parking garage & point B is the back entrance to the McGraw Hill building. It's a short walk thru Times Square.

This is an office and you are expected to be on your best behavior. It's not some free for all party. You shouldn't do anything that you wouldn't do when stopping by the bank. I know you are a Stern fan but we're not out at the bar. You need to be cool. You cannot bring alcohol, take off your clothes, make noise, or bother people. If you see a celebrity, please don't stop them and ask for an autograph or photo.

You are a guest of the show. That means you are answering questions & joining in on a discussion. You are not the host asking questions or interviewing the guests & callers. You are not doing standup and thought it's great when you are funny, it's bad when you try to force punchlines into the discussion. Everyone will get a chance to talk so you don't battle the other guests or callers for airtime. When everyone is talking over one another, it just sounds bad.

You CAN NOT walk around Sirius. You will be escorted from the upstairs lobby to the studio and back out. Do not take it upon yourself to just walk around & check things out. Nobody is allowed to stop by other shows. DO NOT stop by Ferrall's studio under any circumstances even if you think it's OK. I've been told by management that it's not. If you'd like to be a guest on Ferrall, they need to put you on their guest list.

DO NOT sign the wall.

You may take photos in the studio when were are off air but please do not take pictures in the halls or lobby.

All plugs must be approved in advance. If you are going to be on the show and you have something to plug, you need to let me know the day before. ANYONE WHO PLUGS A WEBSITE OR BUSINESS WITHOUT PERMISSION WILL NOT BE INVITED BACK.

HOWARD STERN'S NEW STUTTERING JOHN
August 9, 2009 --

HOWARD Stern is getting himself a new Stuttering John. Former Stern intern Steve Grillo, who now runs Hell's Kitchen Pizza at 47th Street and 10th Avenue, has been hired by the Sirius radio shockmeister to conduct the embarrassing, in-your-face celebrity interviews that helped make his show famous. "Stuttering" John Melendez was Stern's chief celeb-chaser for years until he defected to "The Tonight Show" to be Jay Leno's staff announcer.

Riley gets fired for selling airtime but Howard sets him up with a Meet the Shrink session to see if he can be rehabilitated.
