Position Summary:
The News Director is in charge of the day-to-day management of daily operation for Howard 100 News.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversees the quality and quantity of programming for the channel
• Manage the inter-department relationships required to make operations go smoothly and quickly
• Assure that other departments are aware of, and excited by, programming activities
• Manage News Editors, Reporters, Producers, Anchors and Board Operators for Howard 100 News
• Oversee platform-wide programming initiatives such as features, systems, commercial quality
• Work with the PR department and outside artists’ representatives on talk-related press opportunities
• Work with outside partners as requested, to improve relationships, develop creative initiatives to further improve partnership and programming

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Extensive knowledge of the history of The Howard Stern Show

Scott issue is rediculous. Your boss dictates your work ethic. If the KOAM barely shows up, why should Sirius care if his staffers want a few days off?

It could be a win win as Scott's primary job can be substituted the Howard Channels free promotion cannot. The PBA Tourny is a week long big event that is nationaly televised. Scott's being there alone would be great advertisement for both Sirius and Howard,,,now throw in Howard TV and Scott wearing logoed shirt......this one even can help in 3 components being Sirius/XM, Howard Stern Show and Howard TV....The investment in sending Scott to the event is well worth the risk of a technical problem on the show the 3 days he is out. Fucking think smart!

Also, what does the phrase "We're working a modified schedule now" (from Sabien's lips) mean to you? Why can't he say "new schedule now" or "three day weeks now"?

Why does no one on the show have the ability to give direct yes/no answers to questions... why do they always have to deflect?

The Ronnie block party segments are getting old. Scott sucks, Ronnie sucks and who would pay to see those guys, Howard says the same thing everytime.

Personal days, do they get them or not? I get that Howard, Gary, robin and Fred may not but what about the back office guys that work 5 days a week? At real jobs, you get and can use them for whatever you want.
