POSSIBLE TOPICS

ARTIE, THE LAWSUIT, AND REPLAYS.. OH MY
- Howard is sometimes accused of ignoring topics but this week Howard addressed callers about not having Artie in, the 3 day work week & endless replays, & his lawsuit. Is there anything else that normally get discussed that should have been covered?
- Howard says sure having Artie in would be a great interview but he doesn't want to be responsible for triggering any pain for Artie. It was very heavy, a lot of shit went down, & he feels at this point having Artie in might be good for the show but probably not what's best for Artie. Is this how a bro would handle it? Do the Artie fans understand this logic or do they see it differently? No matter how many times Howard addresses this, some people just can't let it go. What is it about the Artie Situation that brings out so much passion w/ fans? (AUDIO of the 2 calls)
- The caller asked how can you expect me to listen to nothing but replays 4 days a week? Howard's response was to say not everyone hears the show live & this gives them a chance to catch up. Both make valid points. The replays are great for all of us when we miss parts of the show but after each show being repeated all day the day it aired & then all 3 shows repeating Thursday, maybe the Friday & weekend replays are now overkill. What could be done? Considering we have "The Chatter", "What's Worth Watching, "The H100 News Review", "Jay Thomas", & "Geektime!", does anything need to be done?
- We obviously can't get into a deep discussion about the lawsuit but we can discuss how we feel about Howard discussing it. Are u tired of hearing about it, is it nice for Howard to have an enemy to rail against again, or what? Do you think the suit or more accurately, the need for it, damaging the show? if so, when it's settled will everything be better or will things never be the same? (will Howard hold resentment)

DANCING W/ THE ARQUETTE
- Are you surprised Howard hasn't gone all Sanjaya on David Arquette & Dancing w/ the Stars?
- Howard joked that he should go out & sit in the audience w/ Courtney. Do you think it could happen?
- MORE OR LESS calls from David?

DO AS I SAY NOT AS I DO
- Why is Howard surprised that someone entering a competition would try hard to win? What's with this advice to not take it so seriously? Has there ever been 1 show competition where Howard didn't fight tooth & nail to force a win?
- Why is Howard suggesting that late night TV guys be happy w/ where they are & not strive for more pay, better ratings, and a better timeslot? Has Howard ever been content? I'm pretty sure he was doing fine as the afternoon show but for some reason he NEEDED to be the morning guy and for the life of me I can't see the difference.
- Howard often expects people to all do or like things exactly the way he does but are there other examples of Howard's advice being very different than his actions?

ETM & CRACKHEAD BOB CAN'T GET ON AIR
- ETM has quit the Stern Show and was not able to get past the call screeners to Howard. Crack Head Bob called in (yeah he's not dead) but also was not able to get past the screeners to Howard. Are the screeners fucking up or did we not want to hear from them? (LINK)

SOME OF MY FANS ARE ASSHOLES, MAYBE MOST OF THEM
- When discussing how fans talk to him on Twitter, Howard is always like "and these are my fans?!?!" Does Howard have "the shittiest" fans?

ED & DEBBIE
- Week after week people tell me, "don't have on debbie &/or ed". What is it about Debbie & Ed that gets fans worked up? Why do people think they are fake? What do people think they are like in real life? (VIDEO)

WHO'S THE SKIPPY
- Who's the Skippy? Meaning, if one of the staff was to lose his shit & go postal on Howard, who would it be?

RICHARD GETS SPECIAL TREATMENT?
- Richard gets to meet all of his favorites, why? Why don't the others? Is it good for air or does Howard have a sweet spot for him?

A caller asked Howard about Artie on Letterman. Howard said he looked great, was funny as hell, & did a bangup job. as for why he didn't mention it yesterday, he just didn't get to it & there's no conspiracy. Howard said he doesn't think he'll ever have Artie in for an interview but never says never. He goes on to explain that we had a very heavy year in here & I don't know if this place is what's best for Artie. I just don't want to be any sort of trigger to send Artie back down & sitting here slogging thru what happend might not be what's best for him. he went on to say Artie has a long road ahead of him to recover & it might be years before he sets foot back int he studio.

as for the artie doesn't work here anymore comment, it's funny how some people have twisted that around into mean something bad when all he was saying was, I don't control artie, he doesn't work here anymore & even when he did I didn't tell him what to do on letterman.
