BECKS SUPER FAN SWEEPSTAKES

Right on the heels of our last Becks contest comes a chance to win a 2 night trip to NYC for 2 and appear on a special Super Fan Roundtable on 11-19. We'll be doing the show live from a NYC bar & local fans are encouraged to come & join us.

I currently have a full panel scheduled. witht eh announcement of this contest, i may have to change the panel. At the very least, I have to drop 1 person to make room for the person being flown in.

GETTING ON THE SHOW: Each week I start a roundtable brainstorming thread where the fans help build our topics and a listening thread where people discuss the show while it's happening. if you'd like to do the show, get in there and participate. Once you've been around for awhile and see how the show works, ask to be on and pick a open date. The schedule can be found here. We have 4 people on each show and I try to make at least one of them a brand new person who's never been on. You can make your requests here in the Super Fan Roundtable forum or you can email them here.


GUESTS OF THE SHOW: The show airs from the Sirius studios in NYC Times Square. We're in studio 21 on the 36th floor of the McGraw Hill building which is on the corner of 49th & 6th. (Google MAP) The building spans all the way over to 48th & there's a back entrance so you can get to the lobby from either 48th or 49th.

Guests should be there at 6PM so we can do mic checks. The show goes live at 7PM. You can not bring any friends. Our studio is very small and there's really no place for them. I'll need your full name in advance and you need to bring your ID for security. If I don't put you on the list and you don't have your ID, you will not be able to get in. Go to the security desk downstairs to get a pass. They'll tell you where to go from there.

If you are driving, you can park across the street from Hurley's Bar. If you go to Hurley's and get a drink or food, they will validate the parking slip bringing the price down to $18. Here's a map. Point A is the parking garage & point B is the back entrance to the McGraw Hill building. It's a short walk thru Times Square.

This is an office and you are expected to be on your best behavior. It's not some free for all party. You shouldn't do anything that you wouldn't do when stopping by the bank. I know you are a Stern fan but we're not out at the bar. You need to be cool. You cannot bring alcohol, take off your clothes, make noise, or bother people. If you see a celebrity, please don't stop them and ask for an autograph or photo.

You are a guest of the show. That means you are answering questions & joining in on a discussion. You are not the host asking questions or interviewing the guests & callers. You are not doing standup and thought it's great when you are funny, it's bad when you try to force punchlines into the discussion. Everyone will get a chance to talk so you don't battle the other guests or callers for airtime. When everyone is talking over one another, it just sounds bad.

You CAN NOT walk around Sirius. You will be escorted from the upstairs lobby to the studio and back out. Do not take it upon yourself to just walk around & check things out. Nobody is allowed to stop by other shows. DO NOT stop by Ferrall's studio under any circumstances even if you think it's OK. I've been told by management that it's not. If you'd like to be a guest on Ferrall, they need to put you on their guest list.

DO NOT sign the wall.

You may take photos in the studio when were are off air but please do not take pictures in the halls or lobby.

All plugs must be approved in advance. If you are going to be on the show and you have something to plug, you need to let me know the day before. ANYONE WHO PLUGS A WEBSITE OR BUSINESS WITHOUT PERMISSION WILL NOT BE INVITED BACK.

for the thanksgiving special this year, who's house would you want to host it? Maryanne from Brooklyn? Wendy the Retard? Ass Napkin Ed?

What about Christmas? Daniel Carver & the OutQ crew? All wackpackers?

both ronnie & jared had "how dare you accuse me & be such an asshole" attitudes towards JD. they abused him all in an effort to cover up their lies. JD was dead on. he knew they were buddy buddy, knew Jared had access to Tim's email, & knew they hang at the strip club together. hell, right down to the black & white cookies he knew it all. they even let Tim come in an vouch for Jared saying how important email privacy is.

JD is owed a huge apology. ronnie was wrong for getting mad int he first place & now 10x as wrong for attacking JD for accusing Jared.
