    Yahoo! Sports uses the point spreads provided by the Associated Press. These spreads will be updated each day. Unless there are Thursday games, Thursday's lines will serve as the game's official spread. In weeks with Thursday games, Wednesday's line will be the official spread.

    Weekly Ties

    In any week where two or more players finish with the same number of points, here's the system that'll be used to break the tie:

    Closest to the total points for Monday night's game.
    Closest to the home team points for Monday night's game.
    Closest to the road team points for Monday night's game.
    Closest to the total points for selected Sunday game.
    Closest to the home team points for selected Sunday game.
    Closest to the road team points for selected Sunday game.
    Closest to the city whose team scores the most points.
    Closest to the city whose team scores the fewest points.
    Whichever user had more points in the previous week (or the week before that if still tied, etc.).

    I was talking to a "professional gambler" at the lunch counter today. He said to look at the week before and find a favorite that lost and an underdog that won and see who they play next. If there are two teams playing each other with those stats, take the underdog. For example, the Giants beat Phily (-9) Giants are an underdog who won.
    Seattle beat Arizona (-3) Arizona is a favorite who lost.
    This week the play is to take the underdog Arizona +2.5 (a home dog to boot)

    An interesting theory, worth looking at.....
