I'm having trouble trying to recall the best shows of 2012 thus far....favorite guest, moment etc....

I'm hoping things heat up once AGT begins airing on television!

Is the number more than 1? then it's more than you would have gotten if he'd retired so shut the fuck up.

AGT airs primarily in the summer months when Howard takes the most time off, he did 8 shows last July and either 4 or 6 six last August so he won't be around much when it is on. Keep in mind he is only required to do 112 shows this year, he did around 145 last year.

Maybe if Sirius/XM gave Howard more money then he'd have more shows. It was the company that agreed to this schedule.Howard could have just as easily did some shows in LA or Vegas.BUT Sirius wants to cut his budget and raise our subscriptions.

If they did 12 shows per month, it would be 48. I'm willing to bet it's half that - 24ish live shows so far in 2012.

Yeah, because a shitty half-assed show crapped out a few hours every week is SO MUCH BETTER than if the show had retired with dignity.

    Right? RIGHT?

There's a simple solution you know, QUIT LISTENING, QUIT POSTING ON FAN FORUMS! GET A FUCKING LIFE! Most people are happy to get even 1 show a week, only a moron would continue listening if they hated the show. Are you a moron?

Are you serious? Are you asking the poster if he is a moron because he is paying for a subscription and not getting what he paid for? He should cancel his subscription with Sirius and so should everyone else who has it
mainly for Howard, you are not getting your money's worth. Trust me people there is life after Howard and I have a feeling that you will be finding this out sooner then you thought you would.

I love when the morons here play victim. You're not getting what you paid for? You're getting exactly what you paid for: you paid for Howard, and you know in advance that Howard is doing less shows and is at the end of his career. He is tired of doing the show and he's angry at SiriusXM, so he's doing the bare minimum. You know this in advance, so if you pay and expect something else you're a fucking retard. Go away already.

let me guess Artie's Liver you've been sent here to keep these horrible morons in line who dare notice the show is flushing down a drain

i mean you've been a listener now for what a year and a half?

lols how dare people express an opinion.....on a message board

So, because you bought a lifetime subscription, that means Howard is required to work 5 days a week for the rest of his life? He fulfilled the 4/5 day a week schedule from his first contract with Sirius, and is now fulfilling the 2/3 week schedule from his second contract. He stated right from the beginning that he wanted to scale back on the number of shows he did. Stop whining it about it on fan forums and get a life.

I believe his point is that one show per week is better than zero shows per week. Just like if you wanted someone to give you 5 million dollars but they were only willing to give you one million, would you take the one million or would you say "Fuck it, give me nothing." I think fans of all stripes would like to have 4 or 5 shows per week but Howard is old and that ship has sailed. Now we're getting 2 or 3. In the next contract it might be only 1. If you're someone who would rather hear zero shows per week than one or two or three, you have the power to make that a reality. Just turn your radio off.
  19. philliesphan93 Probationary Member

You paid for a lifetime subscription to Sirius Satellite Radio. Not Howard Stern.

:)glad i never got roped into that lifetime nonsense..... i thought about it but then i woke up!
if terrestrial radio didnt suck i would go back to good old free FM.
hollywood howie is an afterthought to me these days...
  21. crackfinger Full Member

Umm, if you had taken a lifetime membership back when Howard first came to Sirius it would have already paid for itself and you'd be listening for free.

Doesn't bother me one bit. I will miss the show when it's gone but guess what...... when I stop listening I won't be on fan forums running my mouth about the show. I'll be enjoying whatever other entertainment option I choose although I will miss the show because it's great even with 2 days a week or 1 day a week or even 1 hour a month. Something is better than nothing.

i thought about it but really wasnt sure if Sirius was going to last. lifetime membership sounds as good as extended warrenty (most people never use). i was thinking what if sirius went under? i'd be out the $. oh well it was a gamble.
