9/11 show - comments, support, thoughts

I just sent an email to Doug Goodstein about this topic, but I thought start a thread to think what fans thought about it.

Howard was talking this morning about when the first plane hit the World Trade Center. At the time in the studio at KROCK, they were discussing if Howard could get Pamela Anderson. I know we've all heard the broadcast from 9/11 either live or on best of, but what about seeing it on INDEMAND. I think it would be compelling to see the reactions of Howard and the others when it happens and hear their commentary throughout the show until they went off the air.

So...any comments, support, or thoughts about it?

u can find it on dc++ and torrents they should have put it out on cd and sold if for charity. sorta a way to show the show has some heart.

You're talking about audio, right? Or do you mean that there is video of this out there?

About the video: I would love to see this. I would buy a DVD of it if that was the way they wanted to put it out. Of any Howard Stern show, this is the one I would be most interested in seeing the video of. I'd pay extra for it. Seriously.

I would love to see this, I was actually listening to it and the 9/12 show a few days ago, and the whole crew was just so honest and let their emotions really show, I thought it was one of the best coverages of it. Hope Howard would be ok with this showing on Howard TV.

I'd also like to see this on HowardTV. Make it happen Doug!

Holy shit. This would be the best thing ever. I never even thought about putting the 9/11 show on InDemand. Christ, it's such a good idea that I doubt they will ever do it.

I too doubt that it will ever happen, but man I would love to see it as well...

But they nee dto play the WHOLE thing unedited the way it went down - all the reactions and everything that happened...

the problem they have with this im sure is that they were listening/watching different tv shows all day, so they would have to get the rights to play that footage, which would be very difficult... they could cut it out, but that would take a lot of time and the episode might look very poorly edited


none the less... i wanna see it big time.

Do you think the TV's would be very prominent on the screen? I don't know how big the monitors are, but I don't think they's be big enough to show detail on our TV's.

Anyway, isn't that considered KROCK stuff that they can't have?

Im all for airing the 9/11 episode. I'd rather have that than another boring sybian episode where the chicks aren't that into it.

I have the 09/11 show and listen to it every so often, I'd love to see this show on tv starting with at least howard's first time "We have a serious news story"

I would like to see this...seeing their reactions would be better than listening to them...they need to air the full show.

I would love to see it.I d/l ed that show and listend to it once in awhile and it was really diffrent hearing howard and the crew change gears.To see the physical reactions would be interesting to say the least.

I too would love to see it! Hearing was amazing but I'm sure adding the video would be unreal!

They should make On Demand shows from that whole week starting on 9/11 and going until 9/14.
