    Loving this week. Congrats to the tapes team and to Sam, Howard, Robin, Fred, Jessica and all the rest for making such compelling radio.

    Hope they do MORE weeks dedicated to the 80s era of the show.

    The way the did "The Peacock Years" I hope they do the "Early K-Rock Years" and have stuff like Melissa Gilbert and Danny Sugarman, the R. Budd Dwyer tape and song parody, K-I-L-L Col. Kadaffi, Omar the guy who broke into Y0ko's apartment, the Donald Manis song parody to the tune of Rocky Mountain Way, Bobcat Gothwait verses Lisa Sliwa- there is a ton of great great stuff they could mine from those year.

    I have never heard a single piece of Kinison stand up that would put him in the class of even scraping the shit of the shoes of the other three. And Dangerfield barely belongs on there with Pryor and Carlin. Perfect how they have a pic of Sam doing what he did best. Screaming.

    wrong. anyone who just things he screamed is very mis-informed & should just play a few of these youtube clips to understand. he didn't scream on Howard, he was just brilliant every single app. kinison was just as good as pryor & ive seen all of their standups, not just talkin shit. just my opinion. cheers

    George Carlin would disagree with you. In his book "Last words" he praised Sam (one of the only other comedians he mentioned in the book) and said that when he saw Sam he felt he had to step up his game or be left behind.

    Kinison is the best. Period. Those who hate were simply not there to witness it.
    This is the first time I have heard all the tapes in order. I can wait to hear the final day.
    I love the progression of the relationship between Sam, Howard and Robin.
