how to deal with SFn.... Just like the Benjy Vorte, either ignore what they say or realize it's the opposite of what is truth. Abe's show is pretty good all things considered, you're all just jealous you guys missed the window to be Riley Martin

Of course opinions will differ since it's subject whether you personally like this show or not.

My question to you guys and my criticism of Tim has nothing to do with this:

Please explain why Stern-subscribers like myself who went through the effort to access Stern-content on
SIRIUS specifically, should even have this non-Howard content appear on our listening menu?

Even if Tim allocates ZERO dollars out of the H-channel budget to include this show on H101, it cuts down on the limited hours available each week. Also, Gary/Howard would never book these guys as guests, let alone propose multi-hour shows for them on the H-channels.

If for example, I subscribe to a sports media service for American sports content like NBA and NFL, why should I have to contend with the sudden addition of Cricket and Rugby, for example? There are many fans around the world of Rugby and Cricket but I didn't pay for that and it's not content I was looking for nor interested in when I signed up.

It doesn't matter if I hate or like Kanan and his crew.
I paid for Stern content.
It's irrelevant.

If Tim wants to experiment, let him do it on a non-Howard channel.

I think Ralph is the reason GEEK TIME is not supersized. He's at Howard's beck n call and whenever an AGT or TV emergency comes Ralph has to spend 12 hours trying to convince Howard he looks like Johnny Depp and go through US magazine to steal whatever Depp's latest cooler-than-the-room personal style is.

Ok first of all why would they pay Levy? If I was a stand up I would beg to host a show for free on the number 1 channel in all of radio.. That's fee promotion...
By the way nobody is forcing Mutt or Riley or any of these guys to do a radio show. If they quit tomarrow Howard would not care and he would just get another guy to do it... There are thousands of people that would do it just for the free promotion and the fact that you are HOWARD STERNS CHANNEL! Every single one of you would do it for free even know u all claim u hate the show yet on on a fan message board talking about it every day....

They are not funny, The guy has 2 voice impressions and they are awful.. It's honestly the worst show ever.. I have emailed the Howard Stern show begging to can the Aba Cannon show I think you should all do the same.. Get the message to Howard, tweet him do anything! Just some how show your dis like for that shitty show! I can listen to every show on H101 besides Riley and Aba Cannon.. Is this show really that much worse than the amateurish broadcasting that pervades 101? It's not the funniest show I've ever heard and I wish they would keep the sports talk going when Ferrall is out. But you can tell these guys have done radio before. I've listened to them when they've had the Mon 7PM slot and when they've replaced the Intern show. They keep the show moving at a good pace and they have intersting bits and discussions. Maybe they dropoff after an hour. I haven't listened to the longer version yet.

Anyone remember when Tim used to substitue Riley in Ferrall's place? Imagine four straight hours of Riley and his food-poisoning induced pablum! And he always did it on a Friday, the one night I get home early enough to hear Ferrall. I can't imagine anything more dreadful than four hours of Riley.

Exactly how I felt about Bubba. The biggest waste of radio airtime I ever heard. Just horrible.....my opinion of course.
Kannan's impressions are horrible and the crank calls are suck m ore often than not. That said the interacttion of the dudes on the show as a team make up for it is pretty good...especially for such a young show. I think there's better shows on the web but it's way better than Bubba ever was and I look forward to it.

If you don't like a show find something else to listen to. If all you listen to on the entire internet is two channels you're really cheating yourself. Advance warning: you may have to pay one or two of your favorite shows. But you don't have to!

Point is even if YOU think his show is ok (don't know what you're listening to exactly) why on Earth would they RUSH an excellent SUPER FAN ROUNDTABLE off the air for only 54 minutes to get to a show that has absolutely no impact or affiliation to the Stern-verse whatsoever for FOUR FUCKING HOURS??? I don't care if he's done radio before it's irrelevant FREE-FM crap. That channel supposedly prides itself on people who haven't done radio like BLACK ON BLACK which was a fantastic replacement.

Why isn't this a golden opportunity to make SFRT longer (or whatever other H101 shows that you wish were longer) to tackle all these Stern related subjects. Also a show that costs no money. Here's your perfect chance to extend SFRT more than an hour which has been a clamoring fan request for years and we have to cow-tow to Abe fucking Kanaan which .000000006% of the audience even care about or know who he is.

I'm leaning more and more in your camp about Ferrell and I'm a huge sports fan. The College Football (no playoffs or ratings) and NHL (face it, no one cares about hockey) fixation is beyond self indulgent as well as that cheesy hair-metal playing for that forced rock-n-jock rebel sports BS feel. Too much fake bad-ass story schtick, and it'swaaay too long.

He doesn't need or deserve 4 fucking hours either of that frog cracking vocal tedium. Ferrell should be shaved down at least an hour as well.

I couldn't agree more! So much for the 'REVOLUTION!!' in radio. I used to think that the revolution was going to mean that our normal way of thinking about radio programming was doing a total change of rules with SIRIUS, so programming around commercials and schedules would go out the window and good shows if they are into something positive, would not necessarily end on the hour if the performers were into some great topic. When was the last time SFRT, or GEEK time or the Wrap Up Show ever went past their designated times when we have asshole Tim Sabean using traditional radio standards asa he does, to think of the timing of replays and has to end the show on time because it's easier...BULLSHIT!! The real revolution ended when Howard left K-ROCK in NYC!
