Chances are, Howard's taking Monday off to recover from AGT, and we'll have another 2-day week.
    *
The "good news" is that Howard's contracted to do X shows/year, so the 2-day weeks that don't follow Sirius holiday Mondays may result in a couple of 4 day weeks in December -- unless (or as a part of) some "slowdown strategy" by Don and Howard to bring Sirius to its knees.

It's Howard's version of the Blue Flu.
Howard isn't stupid. He knows full well that a substantial portion of the audience will be PISSED OFF over him taking more time off.
This is all about putting Sirius-XM in the frame of mind to let him out of his contract early as part of the settlement of the lawsuit.

I will subscribe to Sirius til the bitter end, but this is really starting to get ridiculous. Back to back 2 day weeks? I understand Howard's battle with Sirius, but why hold the fans hostage? I for one won't be sad if Howard does indeed get out of the Sirius gig so I can start saving money. All of this AGT hooplah over a 1 year deal?

Ray: That would be terrific my boy is tired

Ben: I would bring my own blueberries on vacation.

    Keep fucking those chickens

Anyway the bad news for Howard is that people are gonna stop listening by December. He has to be doing a shitty show on purpose to fuck with Sirius because of the lawsuit, there is no other explanation.
  6. Worlock Full Member

They won't fire him if they have to pay out his contract anyway which is probably a clause in it, so they won't do shit.

Did you hear the Van Halen special? That was cool programming. The fact they didn't play the new VH album was a bummer, but everything else was rock solid..

Agreed. He is giving the least possible effort towards the radio show as an F U to Sirius because they won't give him any more marbles. Then again, he did say he'll "piss on his fans" if he wants too so maybe he's saying F U to us as well...

You would think they'd put a clause in Howard's contract that wouldn't allow him to do free commercials for other companies (NBC) that don't pay Sirius for the airtime.

    Yay!!! More tapes!!!
    Keep em coming!!!
That's what I'm really paying for now!!!

The man who pioneered 8am tuesday as the middle of the week, has now pioneered the two day work week.

Piss in their face and tell them its raining.

    Know more bullshit.

Howard said last year that he agreed to do "120 or so" shows under the terms of his new contract. That means 120 shows.

Last SF show is Saturday night at 5... plenty of time to fly back Sunday and do a show Monday

Sirius will sue him when they are done with him. First they have to give him a warning. They have to mitigate the damages before they can sue him for wrong doing, he can also try to fuck them by only having NBC guests on.

Might mean less and he wanted to string the audience along. He gets 12 weeks off now. that leaves 40 weeks times 3 days a week, minus Dark Monday holidays....so I think or so means less than 120.

Sirius was so dumb allowing Stern to do his 3 days Monday-Wed. Should have been Tuesday-Thurs.

Kaplan sorry for not accounting for your christmas vacation that year.
If you want to do the math, for all time off, we actually have about oh....... 8 months of shows left, so your fat faggy ass is wrong,
its more like early 2013ish if you were to line up all shows left in a row.

I must be the stupid one to actually realize this but go by actual sign dates (It mustve been 1-09-05 he signed. Im the big fat fag sry).
Youre right, you guys go on vacation there in December 2015,
and since Howard did jack shit the past 5 years at that point, there certainly wont be any "Best of the Satellite Years, 2011-2016" Christmas Vacation Special portion since your fat lazy asses didnt even work but a year or two of them.

Thats my interpretation of Howards contract, since he wont come clean about it, Im glad you have all the answers though. No different than on the air or wrap up show. Fatso.

Great attitude. If your fans are not satisfied with the show you produce, it cannot be that you produce a very weak show but instead it must be just the fans' problem. Great self reflection.

Its a shame that your success is no longer measured by Nielsen ratings. It has made you guys soft, lazy.

Stern used to actually put energy into the show. Fans used to be important to Howard; Howard used to want to have the most popular radio show in the nation. Evidently, now they are just happy with their "part time gig" and collecting a paycheck.

Many of the fans have a lot invested in The Howard Stern Show based on his promises that he would continue to revolutionize radio. Some revolution. I guess, maybe he is right, after all - how many national radio shows get to survive on 2 or 3 days per week and 10 or more weeks of vacation.

Yeah nice condescending thinks-hes-funny attitude. Nothing different on here than on the air.
