I used to love to listen to them in the afternoon on WNEW. That was the best time in NY when you Howard in the morning and you had them in the afternoon before they became so pissy about Howard...I don't even know why that started anyway. After a while it was bumming me out; I felt like a kid with divorced parents bashing each other. It's too bad they didn't choose to go the Bubba route and build up a relationship with him. The two shows would really go well together if they were allies...

Didn't Howard build part of his empire by getting pissy with other radio guys? Howard stopped getting pissy with radio guys when O&A fought back, then Howard had them silenced.

They never talk shit about Howard anymore. Since their last contract negotiation they've been praising everything Howard does.

The only kind of negative comments come from Opie, and he only hates Gary because he thinks Gary is a phony (He claims Gary acts nice with him in person but talks shit about Opie behind his back). Opie hates Gary so much that he stays in his car if he arrives at the same time as Gary so he won't have to share an elevator ride with him.

Yeah, I used to do the same thing. I used to love Cumia's impressions. I never really knew what Hughes did to contribute to the show... Then I noticed that their material kind of dried up. There was a time when I thought they were really funny, then all of a sudden they just weren't anymore, they were just dull.
