The feminization of government (more women leaders and representatives, more influence for women) has been one of the most important developments of the past sixty years. Women are more adverse to violence and more diplomatic, and this influence has had a moderating effect. Unfortunately the United States still lags behind most of the world in this respect. Saying that Obama supporters are more "in touch with their feminine side" is actually a compliment.

In some ways, probably. I am not an expert on gender differences. My comment was in reference to the scientific fact that war and aggression are almost exclusively male activities. War and aggression are far more destructive than any female tendencies.

You are the one who started a thread mocking men who value the feminine quality of sensitivity, which indicates a lack of acceptance. Personally, I do not think that we should accept something just because it is natural. We should accept or reject values on the basis of reason. It just so happens that some feminine values are more rational in the modern world.
