We dont' know if it is cancer. It could be a fibroid(non-cancerous mass) and they can either remove it surgically or have an embolization, that will block the blood flow to the fibroid.

She also didn't say if it was her uterus or her bladder.

Either way, she had her procedure to day and since they are gone for a week, it can't be a very serious surgery that takes 6 weeks to heal from. I had fibroids removed 12 years ago. I was out of work for 6 weeks. It can be rough but Robin is healthy.

What is interesting to me is that Robin, as a vegan, probably thought her diet would protect her from such things. Sorry, no matter what you eat, it doesn't protect you from death. Live your life fair and honest. That's the best you can do sometimes.

Quick recovery, Robin. I don't know about anyone else, but I missed her today.

Ronnie said it on the News. Shuli was going around getting well wishes and he asked Ronnie how he felt. Ronnie said "She knows how I feel. When I saw her yesterday before she left she had tears in her eyes and told me that she loved me. I wish her well" I was shocked that he said she was basically crying. I've had fibroids and got the ish taken care of quickly. I didn't have a hysterectomy but that's a regular procedure and it's a 6 week recovery but I don't think she'd be crying over that.. it's nothing big.. It might be cancer.. It's so sad

missed robin. a show without her is interesting to hear but you could tell howard was missing her. the call to his parents near the end was vintage. good to hear the folks.

Let me translate the title of this thread, I've studied this title for awhile now, and I think I finally figured it out.

First, Artie leaves. Then, they start doing less shows. Then Howard signs up for AGT and talks about it way too much. Finally, Robin is sick and misses a show.

I think this was the intent of this thread. But I'm still not 100% sure.

13 centimeters is a significant sized tumor. I really hope she gets lucky and it's benign. Otherwise, that would be very very bad.

Let me tell you something. People do survive and live with cancer. My Mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer which spread to other body parts for the last 4 years going through treatment, surgery, etc. She doesn't bitch about it, she doesn't moan, she doesn't cry, she moves on and lives her life with a few more doctor appointments than she's ever had in her life and thanks every morning she wakes up so she can do it again.

Maybe it is just a teratoma and it has teeth and hair growing in it.

It's very interesting because I know of several people who became vegans and their health deteriorated significantly after doing such and know of people who've died with heart conditions while being a vegan. Essentially, the issue here (and it's been studied medically) is that there can be a lowering of many diseases with a vegan diet, however, there has to be sufficient vitamin supplementation and if that doesn't occur, it can lead to all types of medical ailments from stroke to cancer and other diseases due to a near total lack of proper nutrients.

I just wanted to point that out because you always hear the vegan types proclaim how healthy they are, but in truth, many actually harm themselves because of not taking care of the nutritional side. A family friend of ours wife had a pre-existing heart condition from birth and had multiple surgeries. She became a devout vegan. In her early 30's, she had a massive stroke and passed away. It was noted that the veganism actually contributed to her death with improper and/or lack of certain vitamins, minerals, etc. in her body. It can be quite dangerous in those who need to watch these things the most.
