Why the fuck am I hearing commercials at all? I pay for HBO too and don't have to endure any commercials.

And HBO is on 24-7. This show is only on 3 days a week, 4 if they are "working hard".

Wish I had the time to steal the show like so many do but I keep paying for this shit.

I hate Ashley Madison but your point about commercials doesn't make sense. Some of the cable channels you pay for have commercials and some don't, just like Sirius. And HBO has commercials between programs too.

Sure I get your point. I will say that HBO does not have commercials. They have promos for HBO programming but no product commercials.

I get your point too but they're still advertisements promoting products. The products are just in-house rather than from outside.

its so bad the very first time i heard it, the other day, i literally felt myself cringe and i turned down the radio temporarily. true story.

Speaking of television practices, I've always wondered why they feel it's okay to pollute a portion of the screen during programming with promotions for other shows, like a banner across the bottom or in a corner of the screen. How is that supposed to be any less offensive or annoying than a voice interfering with the sound of your program, advertising other programs?

I did the same thing I was basically driving to work this morning thru a construction zone and heard it and I seriously had that "WTF" look in my face.

I think he is saying " finding a lover for his sanity"... Nevertheless..I hate these commercials and I really hate having that damned song in my head all the time...

The biggest problem I have with them is that the when the guy is just talking - he sounds creepy as sh!t.

He does say sanity, but theres some kind of "for my family" part of the song too, i think it alternates.

Right, those are the products I've paid for so on principle, I don't have as much of a problem with them. That information is helpful to me because I'm paying for HBO for the programming. Letting me know what I have access to and have paid for is helpful. Trying to get me to buy shit unrelated to Sirius what I've paid for is very different for me.
