Or Va Tech. One loss to Clemson, who they play tonight in the ACC champ.

THe irony is that the SEC created this whole conf championship split league game 20 yrs ago. Everyone copied them. NOw these games are fucking up the BCS even more.

Most of the top 10 has a good argument to be in the champ game.

Yeah, Stanford did beat San Jose State and Duke (BTW, the only game not played in the pacific time zone).

Va. Tech beat Appalachian State, East Carolina, Marshall and Duke.

They deserve to be in the national championship game over Alabama.

Stanford only quality win is at USC which they got lucky on a fumble in OT. They got killed by Oregon and Luck doesn't want to face LSU defense as his draft stock will drop.

I wouldn't say VT has a quality win and they might lose to Clemson again.

Oklahoma St is destroying Oklahoma who are nothing special with all their injuries. They blew their chance losing to Iowa St.

You talk about out of conference and of those teams Bama has the most impressive win at Penn St. Bama should have beat LSU as they were clearly the better team and deserve a rematch.

If you don't win your conference then you shouldn't be in the National Championship under the current system.

Oklahoma State is beating Oklahoma by 31 points right now but clearly they don't deserve to be in the Championship game.

That rule doesn't apply to Alabama it seems.

If you have a decent kicker they win easily.

They would have won 9-6 if the kicker had made one extra kick. That's clearly a domination.

Int at 1 and kicker missed three FG. Bama was clearly the better team that night.

Oklahoma St has beaten more quality opponents, but won't jump over Bama.

I think we are both on the same page with having #1 play #2 (whoever that is tomorrow). I don't think the rest of the nation outside of alabama will feel the same though. I really think the only thing motivating the BCS and NCAA is the $$$$ behind the current system. Having a low rated NCS actually may be a good thing and may force change.

I'd like to see Oklahoma State's offense go against LSU but it may be a stretch for them to move up to #2. I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch of LSU - Alabama either and am just glad the Boise kicker missed against TCU or else they may have slithered their way into the championship game.

Based on last night's game I have a strong feeling OSU is going to leap frog Alabama in the polls which will hopefully be enough to push them over in the BCS rankings.

It looked like a pretty good business decision at the time and now every other conference has followed the lead of the SEC. It wasn't these super-conferences that fucked things up; it was all of those critics that screamed that there was too much favoritism for certain schools and they wanted to "fix" it by using a computer to average the polls, along with the strength of schedule.

DON'T BLAME ALABAMA or the other schools in the SEC for the problems that the BCS has created.

As a matter of fact OSU's OWN COACH SAYS Alabama is better than his team.
