They spend a lot of time fixing the place up. When did it reopen?

I was just there a couple of weeks ago with the family. My 3 1/2 year old is learning to ice skate, so I plan on going back up to the outdoor rink once she can skate without holding onto a giant cone. It should be fun.

I met my wife on ice skates. Used to be an instructor and skate guard at my local arena. Great fun.

The bridge from Peekskill to West Point. :scardie: That whole trip scares the shit out of me! I was driving for one portion and the whole hill was foggy and scary! I felt like I was going to fall off the mountain.

i used to walk the trails there every weekend. it's like being at a life size model railroad set.

There are tons of marked (& unmarked) hiking trails in Harriman/Bear Mtn. I like to try out a few different ones ever year.

    I'm no fucking Eyeteye....shudder....

I was in Milano last spring. Those haughty bastards would laugh at goombahs like you, Artie and AAA.

Why because you are, in the end, American and can't speak a lick of Italian.

Yes, I admit, that is a mountain. Not a rolling hill. Pretty view I must say.

You are right. The highest peak on the east coast is Mt. Washington in New Hampshire at approximately 6500 feet or so. Any thing west of here, starting in Colorado is huge.

    Hey you're a good sport.

I'm from the east coast as well.

The country is ours so a mountain tall or short belongs to all.
