Been Listening To O&A The Past Few Weeks - NOT IMPRESSED

Fans of O&A surely will say I just don't 'get it'. Let it be known, I'm not a fan of the Stern show as it stands present day.

That being said, Howard is better on his worst day than anything I've heard from O&A.

O&A could only dream of being half of what Howard is.

Careful dude..You know the "Majority"that claim they only "Speak the truth about the HSS"are really O and A/Jay Leno/Pat Cooper lovers.Be prepared to be crapped on for disrepecting their show.You know they think O and A is the one's carrying Sirius and Howard is bad.

when O&A interview guests its much better than Howard he Howard talks over the guests replies at least with O&A they let guests finish their thoughts without Psychoanalysising them which has become lame shict

I like when they have Dana White on or a MMA guy but its hard just to listen to them do a regular show.
Like I said before its not fair to compare them to Howard, Its like comparing a High school football team to a NFL team.
Howard could have BOBO and Red Gypsy on the air for 4 hrs and still be a better show.....Well maybe not Red Gyspy
I like talk radio so I will listen to anything if its interesting but no show will compare to Howard.

Even when Howard puts out a really shitty day of radio, it's still the best radio show being broadcast anywhere. I like listening to youtube clips when O&A rip on Howard, but I can barely stand them otherwise.

I've tried listening to O&A a few times. It was barely tolerable. I don't know why the subject keeps coming up.

They are only tolerable when Norton or a professional comedian is there, the two of them alone is torture.

I have been tuning into O&A from time to time and I have some real problems with the show. The only time I can be certain that I know who is doing the talking is when Jim Norton is speaking. He has a distinctive voice, as does everyone on THSS. On O&A his is the only one. I cannot tell which is Opie's voice, although I assume that he does a majority of the talking when Jimmy isn't speaking. The rest is a jumble. They sometimes have good guests and/or topics so it is worthwhile switching over to their channel from time to time, just to see what's doing. Easily the best program on the O&A channel is the Ron & Fez Show. There is never any doubt who is doing the talking on that show. Plus their show is much more entertaining, often the best show on satellite. That's my $0.02 worth

The show is good when they have Patrice O'neal (RIP), Louis CK or Bill Burr on. i find the show is a little bit lazy, there is no production or preparation, O&A sort of just have the guys sit in and bust balls. Their format though is better suited for B list comedians and they aren't as insecure as howard, they are willing to let other people shine.

Anthony can be funny when he goes on a racist rant, and jim norton is sort of like Gilbert Gottfried during robin' s news , but opie is terrible. we are told that opie is sort of the guy who paces the show, gives it structure, sets the agenda for anthony/norton to riff, but it is all bullshit. Opie is a whiny " hole" (on O&A expression, don't ask).

i must admit, it is a much manlier show. with howard and gary being meterosexuals, fred not talking and robin being a queen, they really could use an artie like comedian to counter balance the faggotry (i mean the old definition of faggot, the way jackie meant it
