Shortest Beet interview in years. It was like 20 minutes. Howard even cut him off to talk with Bobby. :(

his heart does seem to be in the AGT show.
but ya, he is bored out of his mind with radio.

Yeah, but that was the best Beetlejuice interview in years. They finally didn't ruin it with Sal or Artie yelling or cursing at him to get him riled up. He would always just get upset and shut down.

A jolly dwarf is an entertaining dwarf, in my opinion.

I thought it was a good interview but, I would have liked to have heard him end it with a game or contest of some sort. (I know they don't have the budget so, that's probably why it didn't happen)

I love it when he asks Beet the same question 10 times and gets a different answer on each one. The best is when he asks him how old he is.

Sal's Santa Claus thing was lame. I like when the callers rile him up. "I'm Puerto. Bing ying yong mothafucka." lol He said he was Jewish but Howard barely went with it.

was great as always but wish it was longer too.

I wasn't disappointed, since any time with Beet is a good time, but yes I wish it had been a lot longer. Did anyone else notice that Beet actually had a few lucid moments? Like when he said "She just stepped out" when Howard said Robin wasn't there? He's always so unpredictable -- love him!!

Funny I was going to star a similar thread. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was disappointed with the Beet interview.

If ever you needed a glaring example of Howard going soft you need only to listen /watch the latest Beetle interview. I waited so long for his return and we got a gushy "How have you been" interview and shoved him out the door.
Back in the day he use to prod him with leading questions, bait him with phony calls from callers, have guests prsent him with diaperss with diapers or have Sal come in and and antagonize him..

Beet is radio gold! Why are you letting him slip through your fingers?

It was a good interview, but should've been about 30 minutes longer.

I'm guessing AGT is Howard's top priority now. Howard likely thinks he's got nothing left to prove in radio, so he doesn't try anything but the bare minimum.

Was robin in for the Beet interview?,I thought I heard Beet say Robin looked good at the end of his interview.I guess they could put a cardboard cutout in her box and he wouldn't know the difference.

Beetlejuice used to be my favorite, I used to listen to the show just because of Bettlejuice but the last 10 Visits he kind of sucks, I miss sean, may he Rest In Piece, not to knock Seans brother, but Sean tried so hard to make him a big star.

Was this one of the weeks where it was double-interviews all week? Essentially the show was:
    1. Talk for an hour.
    2. Interview
    3. Interview (Celeb impressions I'm counting as an interview)
    4. News
That's how you tell Howard mailed it in. I knew we were in trouble when that was the line-up coming back from a vacation.

What else was he supposed to do with Beet? 20 minutes is about right.

Howard's jealous of Beet's film career

I enjoyed it. Laughed my ass off. Listened to the interview about 4 or 5 times already! Beetlejuice is the man. I wish they did a whole week Beetlejuice special when Howard is on vacation.

Great interview even though it was short, but it was really great to hear Beet happy and well after such a long hiatus.
