Forgot about the Daredevil DC. It has a completely different feeling from the theatrical cut.

Theatrical cut is a safe, mainstream action film. Director's Cut is solid R-Rated fun.

    Blade 2 is so underrated.

Blade 2 is hilarious, exciting, and terrifying. VERY under-appreciated.

And it's got an awesome look since it was direct by Guilemo DelToro. He's hilarious in the director's commentary. I wish he'd do an X-Men movie.

    1. Batman (1989) - If this wasn't a hit, nothing else would have been made. Nothing.
    2. Iron-Man - I liked it because it was really about Tony Stark vs. Technology. The scenes of him perfecting the suit were fantastic. Didn't even need a villain.
    3. Blade 2 - I loved the plot twist when the guy you spent the whole movie HATING became the hero in the blink of an eye.
    4. The Dark Knight - I actually thought The Joker helped me understand terrorism a little better. Some people just want to see the world burn.
    5. Watchmen - super-dark. Great story. And NUDITY! (And I'm not referring to the blue guy's dick).

Honorable Mention: X-Men Origins: Wolverine - I loved the scene when they inject him with the adamantium.

I saw these mentioned as well...

Superman II - Lois Lane got on my nerves in that movie.
Spider-Man II - the best of the Spider-Man movies, but I never really got what Doc Ock was MAKING. It just seemed like it was a big light show.

I have not seen THE AVENGERS yet.

    1) Avengers
    2) Iron Man
    3) Batman Dark Knight
    4) X-Men The first Class
    5) X-Men The Last Stand ( because Beast fights)

    I did a lot of re-arranging from 3 to 8.

1 - The Avengers (the greatest comic book movie EVER!)
    2 - Spider-Man 2 / Iron Man (tie..were both my #1 until I seen the Avengers)
    3 - Iron Man 2
    4 - Superman 2
    5 - Spider-Man
    6 - Batman (1989)
    7 - X-Men 2
    8 - Superman (1978)

I literally don't waste the time to watch any other comic book movie than the ones listed above. I think those Nolan Batman flicks SUCK....watched them and I literally can't even tell you anything memorable or even what they are about. Like who was the villian in the fist one? I can't even remember. Watchmen sucked....Hell Boy flicks were lame and fell asleep on the second one....Daredevil, Catwoman, Electra; Superman 4 are the WORST movies ever! Those 2 Hulk flicks they totally dropped the ball. They should have waited for The Avengers to come out before they did a Hulk movie.

DagXNasty, I'd "like" this if I could, but I'm still a probationary member. Awesome movie. The world could use more Theoretical Physicists/Rock Stars.

    I liked it for you.

One of those rare movies that has the nerve to promise a sequel it never delivered.
  19. revolcane Full Member

Danke. Count that one amongst the ranks of Kung Pow 2 & History of the World: Part II
  20. SirLollipopMan Full Member

Apparently, the Punisher movie starring Dolph Lundgren is exempt from this list because it achieves a level of greatness that no other film could dream of. That is the only explanation that I can think of for why this cinematic masterpiece has not yet been mentioned.

One of the studios has the current rights to the sequel option. Lithgow and Weller both said they are ready to make it at any point in time.

Also, I think the comics were actually a product of the movie instead of the other way around, but it is still one of my top ten movies.

    Cheers!!!

And Doctor Detroit and Super Mario Brothers.

And it was hinted at in the movie but Mel Brooks wanted to do a Spaceballs sequel,
Spaceballs 3: The Search for Spaceballs 2.

    Same with Howard the Duck.

I preferred the Dolph version to the Thomas Jane version, personally.
