I seem to remember Artie saying something very briefly about some blood test results that he was waiting for and I wonder if the results scared him into getting help before anymore damage is done.

i hope artie comes clean and admits his real reasons for calling out so much(especially that black eye he went to the hospital for..)

Don't know about the black eye conspiracy, but I'm with you. I hope he comes clean about the drugs he's been doing, but he won't. Fuck, his heroin admission that was just on 'Best Of', he was dishonest.

What I'm hoping for is his coworkers to call him out on his bullshit. Not for Artie's sake, but for the show's sake. Now when Howard tries to rush a whacked out Artie through a story, you idiots will understand.

I've have seen people, swearing on the life of their children (while high as fuck) that they're not high. I've seen addicts stealing from their poor grandmothers and then lie about, despite finding granny's wallet on them.

I don't think anything about Artie is interesting, but, it is curious who Artie would be without his addictions. His whole persona and everything he drones on about is about how much he eats, what drugs he has taken and the romantacized stories he tells about scoring them, how much money he loses to gambling and his drunken cab rides through the city while eating pizza. Every schtick is centered around food and drugs, including his brilliant new act, falling asleep on the air because he had too much "sugar" .

One week of outpatient rehab isn't going to do very much for someone like Artie whose whole identity is wrapped around being an addict to anything and everything and seems to wallow in it and enjoy the attention it brings to him.

oh nigga please lol howard didn't even blink. aside from rescuing that clam with the chipped shell, he hasn't moved from his chase lounge all week. it's not like artie is calling him asking him for help, he's doing this on his own. the wedding will go on worry free and with tons of gayness to revolt us everyone. don't worry.
