I thought his post was a little squirmy myself.

Sounds like he's apologizing to the liberals for owning a gun.

Fuck what other people think about my constitutional rights.

I've never got into reloading but it sounds like that would be affected and maybe even make reloading illegal.

indeed. the sooner some progressives abandon the authoritarian-pacifist dream of gun control, the sooner they'll be able to keep other progressives reliably aligned with them during national elections.

too bad about the price-gouging, but the underlying fear is justified...Obama is a gifted politician, but his ideology is still Progressive Big Brother. There can be little doubt that he'll attempt egregious infractions upon the 2nd Amendment at some point, especially towards the end of a 2nd term, or if he feels emboldened by some tragedy during his first.

Go look it up, cocksucker. Here is a hint - the word "militia". The whole controversy surrounding the 2nd A is collective rather than individual interpretation, and the Supreme Court recently resolved that issue, and I disagree with their analysis even though I am a gun owner. And, you are making a fundamental erro in reasoning. Heller dealth with a regulation not ending gun onwership, but regulating ownership. We already have plnety and I think plenty more are needed including being registered to buy ammo.

:giggle: nope, the gun control movement has long since given itself away, there's no putting the genie back in the bottle and the secret's out: gun-control advocates are led by and get most of their intellectual energy from those who view control as a pretext for confiscation.

the mass media has also given itself away as being in favor of gun control, this is why manipulating the mass media to portray anti-gun advocates as "for sensible gun control" keep falling very flat.

:rolleyes:blithering idiot, thank you for underlining my rebuttal to mingthing. prior to WW2, there was never any pretense that the 2nd Amendment meant anything besides what the Founders wrote about at length: an INDIVIDUAL right, consistent with all the other INDIVIDUAL rights enumerated in the US Constitution. Your "disagreement" is moot, the SCOTUS has ruled and their decision openly beckoned for more litigation to expand that ruling. for the foreseeable future, there are 5 votes there to shut u up.

As American political culture continues to accelerate its rejection of gun control, you can expect that number of votes to grow.

read Heller carefully, and weep for your deluded, post-Royalist and post-Socialist reading of our fundamental rights. your reading is ever more doomed, and your bizarrely hypocritical position more precarious. :)

    i bought ammo yesterday

100 rounds of .45 auto, and a box of 20 rounds of 270 winchester

    EGG FUKN ZAK LEE!

the flaccid mental gymnastics needed for a "collectivist" reading of the 2nd Amendment are sad, but politically transparent.

let the gun-banners expect an endless road of political setbacks...it's just beginning. smart progressives can get on board, but sooner or later they must fully sever their ties with dumb progressives who favor interference with the human right to self-defense...or be dragged down with them politically.

gun-control is an ever-heavier albatross around the neck of Progressivism.

As a gun owner I would think you have a better understanding Mark, and I think you do if you stop listening to Jeton saying being for gun ownership and against Heller is inconsistent. it is not, and even Heller states regualtion is OK, but DC went too far.

I am for gun ownership. But, I am not against heavy regulation of ownership. See the difference? I think you should be licensed and every gun registered and also be licensed to buy ammo. No restrictions (other than felons, etc.; and no fully autos, hi caps, etc.), but registration nontheless. That is the difference, right ot bear as long as well regulated. Big difference. Jeton the cocksucker evidently cannot undestand the difference, because he is too busy with his Buckley imitation.

here in Massachusetts you can't buy ammo without even being licensed to OWN a firearm

and you need an LTC to buy handgun ammo
  17. Drizden Full Member

That is not going to do anything. The only ones that are going to follow all those laws are the people that aren't going to commit crimes with guns. The only gun control I agree with is background checks, everything else has nothing to do with guns and everything to do with control. Gun control does not equal crime control.

:stretch::yawn: the purpose of the 2nd Amendment was debated at length, and adopted expressly to empower the populace to be an armed counter-weight against government tyranny. registration and databases of ownership have already proven to enable confiscation, as in the Katrina disaster...where armed Blackwater security openly carried machine guns on the compounds of the rich and politically connected, while the local police went about confiscating the guns of local civilians left defenseless in the anarchy.

as i said, the jig's up politically speaking. i encourage you to keep spamming your stupidity around, especially outside this forum. Your idiocy is useful to my Purpose.

wrong. there is nothing bad about knowing where a bullet was fired from. ever
  20. guayuque Full Member

But what you do accomplish, is you begin taking all unregistered guns off the street and limit access to ammo. Neither of those are bad.
  21. mingmen Full Member

only jackoffs need to make convoluted deductive claims like that. just sayin', jackoff :hw:
  22. mingmen Full Member

I don't agree. Sweeping generalizations like yours are useless :)

    Speaking of ignorance....

This is exactly one of the reasona I disagree with Heller. The notion that citizens armed with light weapons can match a government may have had attraction a couple of hudnred or even a hundred fifty years ago. But now? Fucking absurd. You can take up weapons all you want against the National Guard all you want, I am not. The have these little things called helicopter gunships, jet aircraft, etc. Good luck with the best weapons you can afford, because you will still be no match. Plain stupid argument other than historical observation.

As to Katrina, why is it anyones fault that people were not armed? I am not advocating disarmament - far from it which you would realize if you took the cock our of every office you have for a second to read.
