:giggle: dingbat...the legal goal-post for 2nd Amendment regulation is now....WAIT FOR IT:

    Strictest Scrutiny :dm:

and that means that, as Heller plays out and expands, per its own express prescription, laws directed at arms-bearing/possession will have to pass (The New York Times' own "new locution alert")....WAIT FOR IT:

    2nd Amendment Muster

...looks like you don't quite understand the debate...

It was meant to discredit the whole "well if your not doing anything wrong why would you care?" argument :)

Wow, sorry I missed this one but I had a apicoectomy this morning, have 8 stitches in my gum and spent the day on the couch. :D

Tony, you've nailed it yet again. Very solid my friend, you make me proud. :)

The exchange between you and mingy was like watching George Foreman fight Ru Paul and you kicked her ass nicely Tony. ;)

I was going to suggest to guayuque he may want to read Heller to get some sound understanding of the decision. Of course there are 4 dissenting votes but their reasonings and logic are thin, flimsy and largely discredited horse-shit. Heller is going to stand up for a very long time simply because it was the right decision.

Guayuque, specifically look at the "arms in common use" aspect of Heller and you should see some strong logic there. If not, let me give you a personal example. At the time the constitution was written a "well regulated militia" meant a well trained and equipped militia
and all military age men were part of the militia and they often brought their own weapon with them and of course they were already proficient with that firearm. That is how wars are won, with trained and skilled warriors.

What's changed? Nothing much really. Because the people still have access to arms in common use at this particular time, my son has shot thousands of rounds from AR rifles and the Beretta M9 type pistol. He proficient in their use and maintenance. In fact he's a little more for just proficient, he's a damn good marksman and he happens to be signing into the Service next Friday. He's just another kid that has had the opportunity to shoot enough to become really good at it and that skill may actually help him out in the armed forces where the objective is to shoot the enemy. ;)

The goal of most all the gun-control groups is to take guns away. That's why they have to be fought at every step, there is no middle ground for them, for if there was, surely they would be satisfied with enforcing the thousands of laws already written.

Criminals don't obey gun laws. It always goes back to that simple fact. Left-leaning people somehow expect someone who is capable of murdering, beating, robbing and raping other people to obey gun laws... It makes no sense. :noshake:

And where are the other collective rights in the constitution?

:eek:pps: There are none, There are all individual rights, just as the second amendment is.

And ming, please go fuck yourself. :hw:

I just quoted you saying gun control is not allowed. You go argue with Hambo about why he can't understand what I said :hw:
  15. NC-Stern-Mark Full Member

I know, I made a couple posts on the subject... :p

I went back on low-carb at the beginning of the month and dropped about ten pounds so far. Carbs kill me, I can't even look at them. :(

When I quit smoking in April, I put on about thirty pounds but it was still worth it. By the time summer hits, I'll be in really good shape again.

No one understands you, not even your mother. All the poor woman does is wander around talking to herself and wondering how to get you out of her basement. :noshake:

Whats worse is, no one wants to understand you. :(

Hence my suggestion to go fuck yourself...

I feel like I should be able to eat OK tomorrow. Planning a mushroom swiss omelet for breakfast and maybe some mashed up meatballs with parmesan for lunch.

My jaw would pretty much have to be wired shut to stop me from eating. :D

:console: it's ok, i know ur kind is ever sadder that this preposterous re-positioning of gun-control rhetoric is falling flat...ur problem is that ur leaders were too public for too long about their real intents, so NewDoubleSpeak from yer kaaaahnd will always be weaker n weaker.;)
  24. mingmen Full Member

    uh...yeah...that was my point. :)
