    Shocking

Estimated deficit for this year almost doubled from 9.2 billion to 16 billion

... now let's get back to your regularly scheduled recall election of Scott Walker and his budget surplus.

Yes because electing a different governor would have changed the economics for the state

I thought raising taxes and increasing taxes was going to lower the deficit and create many jobs in California.

If it never works in California, why do you think it will work on a federal level??

I actually agree, California has chosen a fiscal path, making the financial decisions to right the ship will never get you elected to Governor. Residents still don't get it....insolvency is in their future.

Too many illegals.. Disgusting. Well, this is the consequence. The hollywood liberal rich should be writing checks to pay their fair share to bail out the california economy. I thought they cared?..

Lets not blame the former republican governor for any of this. He had nothing to do with creating this mess.

Maybe they could institute an exit fee/tax on all the millionaires & businesses that are packing up and moving to Texas, Arizona, & Florida. That'd get 'em balanced in no time.

It's just so hard for me to not smirk at the thought of a liberal paradise failing so miserably

Blargy, California is part of the United States, its not a liberal paradise and the people who live in California, all 37.7 million of them do not deserve to be painted with that broad brush.

Statements like yours support the idea the republican party is populated with lunatics.

True, not all deserve the financial implosion.

But far over 50% do, and I'm sure that so few of them have learned anything from this fiasco that CA will be blue come November in the next election. So fuck them and their ideological superiority because that bullshit doesn't fly in real life.

the shame for many of the residents of California is that many will be left holding the bag..as Chris Rock said once, being wealthy is not about the money, it's about the freedom, to do what you want...threatened with losing that freedom by staying in California, wealthy people will leave the state and are already...then who's left to pay ?

I said republican. What I said was fact. He was a republican, proudly endorsed by the republican party.

I realize you Sarah Palin types aren't smart enough to understand this point... but here's the problem...

when the conservative guy correctly says, "let's be fiscally responsbile" he is also the exact same person who says, "we must teach the story of creation in public schools, stem cell research is first degree murder, gays are trying to force your son to marry another man, we must censor the internet and television to protect the children, someone smoking a joint in his back yard should be thrown away for life, the power of prayer is the only healthcare you need, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc."

It's the equivilient of a Daniel Carver stressing the importance of good oral hygiene and seeing your dentist twice a year. Yes, Daniel, you are 100% correct on this point however it's hard to listen to anything you might have to say considering all your other views.

    <--------------- winning.

You're not winning at all, you're fucking up BIG TIME by giving conservatives and/or republicans credit for fiscal conservationism when they are the very mother-fuckers who run up deficits and the national debt!

Fuck Them, Fuck Them Where They Breath!

that's very true. even though they talk the talk on being fiscally responsible, their actions say something else entirely.

The good news for them however is that none (zero) of their voters are smart enough to realize this point.

Isn't a conservative just a sexually distraught Republican? Are you a "conservative" Boumtje?
