Commercials 0n "NON-Commercial" radio

I'm not sure if this has been debated yet, I've been without my 'puter for awhile BUT....I got Sirius 12/2004 to be ready for Howard, and listen to all the talk radio shows (most of 'em are horrendous, can't wait for Howard), and there are HUGE blocks of ALL KINDS of commercials, I've timed 7 minute blocks, sometimes even higher. One of the big selling points is the "commercial-free"-ness of sattelite radio, but it saddens me to say this is a misnomer. Am I off the mark, here? I'll be there for Howard no matter what, but I feel kinda gypped on this subject. Anyone else?

I mainly listen to the 80s channel.

It was debated here and someone pointed out that since it's inception satellite radio has always been commercial free for music and a few commercials for talk radio, so the commercails were expected, the question is how much. Howard said it would be 3 or 4 (per hour I think) which seems to be normal and which other Sirius subscribers have said is hardly noticeable.

I don't care too much for the talk channels, so I never really paid attention to the commercials. We'll see if it annoys me when Howard finally gets there.
