From all the lovers and haters on the forum. We can overlook our differences when it comes to our pets.

I'm really sad for them,..I know how hard it is....it is good that they have the cats because they have to care for them and that will help a little..but I totally understand how they lost it when they saw Bianca's slobber in the cat water bowl...I know that my big ole boy Angus is not going to be with me a whole lot longer and when he goes.....even though I have another dog and a cat..I'm going to have a hard time..I'm making sure he knows how much I love him and doing my best to make sure his quality of life is good ..It is so hard to lose a pet you have bonded with the way Howard and Beth had with Bianca....

I too have 2 older dogs. When we're working the pets are the kids and wife's dog. My Golden is just mine. If anybody tries to tell her what to do she looks at me and waits for my confirmation. RIP Bianca. A new dog does make their passing a lil easier. If any of you are looking for a good family dog the Golden's are great except for their shedding.

Bulldogs are great. I worked for a guy who brought his bulldog to work every day. Aside from the stinky doggy farts and the snoring, that dog was lots of fun and so affectionate. He was also very smart and manipulated everyone in the office to do his bidding.

Believe me I know how they feel. I had to let my eight year old cat go this morning. He started vomiting last Tuesday and everything went down hill from there. First all his blood work was good then two days later the new bloodwork came back with high white count and liver failure. Even with strong meds to stop the vomiting and to lower the infection nothing was working. I"m going to miss my buddy, he was a cool cat.

    That picture is bizarre.

But yah, it sucks to lose a pet.

I completely understand how sad Howard and Beth feel right now. Losing a loved pet is so hard. I lost my cat who was 22 years old. He was my best friend for half my life and gave love unconditionally everyday. I want Howard and Beth to know that it will get easier with time. Eventually you will start to laugh at all the silly things that Bianca did without crying. Pets are so precious. I feel sorry for anyone who has not had a special bond with a pet. They dont know what they are missing. RIP Bianca.

I would agree, but any animal "lover" should know that a British bulldog is a unnatural animal to begin with.

Damn Beth looks terrifying in this pic!

Wondering? i have heard more about these animals than I have heard about his children. Maybe Howard doesn't care about anyone or anything before he met Beth.

Ok If and only IF the Stern's do set up a funding thingy for Bianca-RO'DOS the people should try and contribute to their own local NO_KILL SHELTER . Not fair for a shelter who has famous people giving $10,000 at a clip hogging up all the money when shelters all over the USA need funds as well. It is more fair to help your LOCAL shelter than to KISS AZZ and donate where MILLIONAIRES already do that.

    Very sad about Bianca.
Howard and Beth need time to grieve now.
Maybe even do some things they could not because they were busy caring for an older dog.

Not sure if a hard luck case dog from the shelter is a good idea right now.

This is so sad, and I do feel for them. We just lost our two older dogs a few months ago and it's just devastating. I miss them both, particularly my Golden, every single day (even at 14! he walked w/me every afternoon/evening). I agree on possibly waiting a while before getting another dog (shelter of course). RIP Bianca.

I've always found that the art of distraction helps in these situations. If you fill that void with something else it takes the sting out.
Oh dogs, I was talking about X girlfriends. Pretty much the same thing emotionally.
