Curt Shilling . Yet another two faced Teabagger !

For those not in the know, Curt Shilling is a former Red Sox hero who helped the team win the championship a few years back.
He is also a big mouthy tea bag Republican. You know the type, smaller government, less waste and govt spending, no handouts ect...
Well he also has a VIDEO GAME company! He moved his company from Mass to Rhode Island after shaking down the fanboy RI govenor for a taxpayer backed $75 million dollar loan.
And not that company is having trouble paying that stupid loan back. The dumb ass vidoe game biz aint doing as good as he thought. But dont worry, Curt payed himself back for the $4mill of his money that he put in. Using the taxpayer money of course.
Typical right winger, they are fine using tax money for themselves, but fuck everyone else.



PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- Former Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling asked Rhode Island for additional help to save his video game company Wednesday, prompting state leaders to consider whether the firm is viable enough to justify further investment.
Schilling briefed Gov. LincolnChafee and the state's Economic Development Corp. board in a closed-door session.
Following the meeting, Chafee would not say what Schilling is seeking from the state. The governor said the question before state economicdevelopment officials was, "How do we avoid throwing good money after bad?"
Schilling declined to answer questions, saying only: "My priority right now is to get back to my team."
Concerns about 38 Studios' financial health arose when it failed to make a scheduled $1.1 million payment to the Economic Development Corp. on May 1.

To me you look like a douche because of the comments in this sentence... but really your post is a good one... that I fully agree with.. why ruin it with this one line, turning off people from what you have to say? calling someone a tea-bagger in my opinion is a douche move... Also the other stuff you said smaller gov, less waste, are you really against those things? I don't understand how anyone could be against that, but I suppose if you wanna be against it explain why?

Exactly why the government should not be in the business of picking winners and losers. But this is a Republican position, as well as a tea party position, so I'm not sure exactly where those ideals come into play here.

Well the sports writers were right about Schilling. 1 workday a week he is the best pitcher in Baseball. The other 4 days he is a complete asshole. He was not like by to many he encountered in Philly. By the way Rhode Island has had scams pulled like this for years. Buddy Cianci strike a familiar tune in your heart !

Curt was suckered into buying Drew Bledsoe's house in suburban Boston for 11 MILLION Dollars. The house is worth about 6 million at best.
