    I've been a fan of The Boondocks since I read it in the daily paper's comics. And I've enjoyed the first 2 seasons of the cartoon on Adult Swim. Its great political and cultural satire. I just watched the 3rd (and Last) Season's premiere episode. Its about the 2008 election of Obama. Here's a clip of a music video shown on the episode.

    I thought the episode was great and I was rightfully bitch slapped by Mr. Aaron McGruder for my buying into the bullshit of "Hope & Change". He was right in the episode when the main character says:
    I haven't been quiet about my disapproval of the job Obama has been doing so far, just as I wasn't quiet about my disapproval of W. I got duped by his bullshit in his 2000 run too. I actually thought he was serious about a smaller government and an end to "Clinton ear World Policing". Guess I just still got too much youthful optimism left in me. :wacko:

    The worse part is that Obama was still a better choice than McCain. Because at least there is zero chance that Sarah Palin will be the President of the United States of America.

    I dont think you got the point of the episode which was people who were only about hope and change and actually didn't know any of his policies or platform, not just people supporting him. I loved the episode and have no regrets with my support of Obama, as I've always known what his policy positions were and are.

    Except that he isn't pursing most of his stated policy positions during the campaign now. And has done a complete 180 on a lot of important issues.

    It wasn't just about the people (from both sides) that were ignorant on the issues. That was only one part of it. One point being made.
