Nope, Howard no longer does. This was inadvertently revealed by, of all things, an intern on The Intern Show, which Steve essentially acknowledged. Interns were allowed and encouraged to attend the meetings, even encouraged to contribute ideas by Howard himself on Tuesdays. That show was many months ago, and it was described as being months before that so, it must be close to a year now that he ended this.

Also, remember that Gary would be absent or very late at best to the WrapUp show on the days of the creative meeting, which were on Thursdays and then changed to Tuesdays once the three-day weeks began. John Hein would announce this many times upfront as the WUS would start. No longer absent nor referred to.

If I can determine which show it was, I will post the audio.

With 8 hours a week and 80% of that talking about AGT I would say yes. Don't know if he does this to say FUCK YOU to Sirius or to us dumbasses who pay to hear this shit.

I just wish he still wanted to bring it to his radio show.

Howard's edge is like a knife that is actually a bowling ball

For me, sadly, the Wrap Up is often more entertaining than the HSS itself...

The first time I ever heard Howard was circa 88, some caller called in to kiss his ass, he simply hung up and ignored the call. Oh how things have changed. He used to be ant-establishment, now he is the establishment.

He's becoming the later-stages Lenny Bruce ... once an icon, now totally narcissistic and unaware of how people perceive him. When he starts reading the transcripts of his latest lawsuit on the air, it's definitely over.

He has not lost his edge, he is gaining his sanity. He is finally conquering his narcissism. It was entertaining listening to a raving genius, but in the end it diminished us for being such selfish voyeurs.

In one sense he has not Lost His Edge at all, he has sycophants paying subscriptions to hear him live-read hours-long infomercials for the work he does for his other payday.
In every other sense of course he's lost his edge. Years and years now.

To the long-winded one above - yes he modified his behavior after his divorce but remains as neurotic as ever. He's now Posh Poser the Nearly Neutered Neurotic Nebbish.

This is a trick question isn't it?
